* ''Manga/MagicKnightRayearth'' has this in ''spades''.

** That show being ''Gekiganger 3'', whose little-seen full title actually includes the term "nekketsu", as does the title of the ShortAnimeMovie, and a few of the special move names (Nekketsu-giri, the "Hot-blood Slash"). The scientist who built the Gekiganger robots claims they can surpass the later creations of their creators the Super-Paleolithic people because the robots were built with the extra feature of incorporating Hot Bloodness... But surprisingly, it doesn't go nearly as far as some of the real examples.

** In fact, most people voiced by NobuyukiHiyama have a tendency to fall into this trope, which also includes Ikkaku Madarame from ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'', Harunobu Madarame from ''Manga/{{Genshiken}}'', Viral from ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'' and Akutare/Axel from ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 2|CursedMemories}}''. Even Link in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'' (who was voiced by Hiyama for that game) was particularly hotblooded in his screams when being knocked down or attacking.

* Nekki Basara from ''Anime/{{Macross 7}}'' is SuperRobot-levels of HotBlood channeled into a singer.
** His ''[[MemeticMutation daughter]]'' Sheryl from ''Anime/MacrossFrontier'' while normally an {{Ojou}}, becomes a hot blooded {{Determinator}} when it comes to her singing.
*** Both can be said to be deconstructions of this trope though. Basara can be plain annoying at times much to the annoyance of the rest of his bandmates. Shery, while trying to be a determinator and fly a [[TransformingMecha Valkyrie]] out of a battle fails miserably.
** Ozma Lee from ''Macross Frontier'' is also pretty hot blooded, kinda expected as he's a fan of Basara and Fire Bomber.

He's known as [[FanNickname GARby]] for a very good reason.

** ''Anime/GundamBuildFightersTry'' brings us Domon Kasshu {{Expy}} Sekai Kamiki. His gunpla, the Build Burning Gundam, even generates a halo of flames just through his sheer hot bloodedness.

** Sousuke doesn't normally do this trope (being an absolute [[TheStoic stoic]] most of the time), but he does have one brief, distilled moment in ''Anime/FullMetalPanicFumoffu'' of HotBlooded-ness for the sake of a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ-_wi40_kY pre-rugby match Rousing Speech]] (starting at 5:35), at which point he might as well change his name to Domon Kasshu ([[HeyItsThatVoice Same voice actor again, by the way]]).

* Noriko Takaya from ''Anime/{{Gunbuster}}'', who may have been one of the first true examples of a female hot blooded protagonist in giant robot history, and still remains one of the best. How hot blooded is she? Let's just say she's got a SpearCounterpart in none other than [[TengenToppaGurrenLagann Simon The Digger]]!

** Viral definitely deserves a mention. As a beastman, he's unable to generate Spiral Power... and then he becomes so HotBlooded he does so ''anyway''.

**** It's also treated somewhat more realistically, since his HotBlooded self is one of his biggest character flaws: the fact that he is constantly acting on his over-the-top emotions makes it very easy to [[UnwittingPawn manipulate him]] and lure him into traps... and very often, he [[SpannerInTheWorks ends up tearing through these traps]] [[TheDeterminator out of pure hot blood and willpower]].

** Graham Aker of ''{{Gundam 00}}'' does a lot of yelling and screaming for a RealRobot pilot, as well as some of the others in his squad. Thankfully, though, he's one of those characters who is hot-blooded AND has the experience, competence and sheer awesomeness to back it up. Some of his burning moments include screaming fallen comrades' names and vowing revenge, and in one instance, he sorties ''alone'' to fight a Gundam attack, and yells something about surpassing the Asura while slicing off the Gundam's arm (the first time a 'regular' mobile suit did harm to a Gundam in that series). Did we mention that he has no fear of having his body turned into pulp by G-Forces? Yes, Graham is hot-blooded AND awesome.

** From ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeed Gundam SEED]]'', we have Yzak Joule. In the [[GundamSeedDestiny sequel]], he is a bit less so, due to being more experienced, but [[TheBerserker Shinn]] [[ScreamingWarrior Asuka]] more than makes up for it. Shinn could be seen as a {{Deconstruction}}, seeing as he's [[LeeroyJenkins much less effective in combat]] when angry than [[CombatPragmatist when he's calm]].)

*** Many characters voiced by Creator/TomokazuSeki, most notable is probably [[Anime/MobileFighterGGundam Domon]] and maybe [[MartianSuccessorNadesico Gai]]. He's probably voiced more Hot Blooded characters than almost any other voice actor. Only problem is, he's voiced so many characters and with such a wide range of personalities that it's impossible to associate him with just the Hot Blooded ones.

** The earliest anime/manga example and likely the TropeCodifier for this special media is ''Anime/MazingerZ'', the series that codified the SuperRobot. Kouji Kabuto is generally the character that all other HotBlooded characters come from (and Sayaka the role model for all HotBlooded, {{Tsundere}} female leads). We HAVE to thank the dude for paving the way for all the hot blooded passionate GAR-fueled heroes that we respect love and admire to this day.

* ''Manga/GetterRobo'' requires not one, not two, but ''three'' hotblooded pilots, and exposure to Getter Rays brings out the burning passion within oneself; even watching or reading ''GetterRobo'' can make someone HotBlooded.

** Lampshaded in the VideoGame/SuperRobotWars games, where one scene has Noriko learning how to scream in Hotblooded fasion by none other than [[GetterRobo Ryoma Nagare.]]

** ''Anime''GundamBuildFighters'' has Yuuki Tatsuya, who becomes even more hotblooded in his persona of Meijin Kawaguchi III. The cake is taken by Mr. Ral and Master Chinan in the final episode.
