* In a similar vein to Anevia's story, Shardra Geltl the iconic Shaman is a trans woman who was not only completely accepted by her family and their society, but transitioned via alchemical means similar to the Hormone Replacement Therapies that trans people are given in the real world (and only after her gender was validated by her powers, making it clear she was always a woman before then). A rare example of a transgender person being portrayed realistically, treated like any other character of the same gender and not [[TransgenderFetishization being used for fanservice]] or [[UnsettlingGenderReveal cheap laughs or horror]]. Her description in the game book even follows the proper practice of using she/her to describe her even when talking about events from before coming out and never revealing her birth name (something that a lot of ''newspapers'' fail to do with real people).

No meta moment, see this query.

* A meta moment, but applicable. There are a number of prominent posters on the Paizo forum. One of them, Mikaze, is a well known champion of (among other things) good and neutral members of traditionally monstrous races. When the origin of Oloch the iconic half-orc Warpriest was released, Mikaze was thrilled (Mikaze was similarly happy about Irabeth's backstory, too). Poster Freehold DM had this to say in response: "If nothing else, thank you, Paizo, for making my friend happy."

** Irabeth's backstory: remember how we said half-orcs in Golarion are near-universally born of rape? Irabeth's father, a full-blooded orc, chose to leave his people because he fell in actual love with Irabeth's human mother, courting her and officially marrying her before they had their daughter.
** Both of them are important [=NPCs=] in the "Wrath of the Righteous" Adventure Path, which also contains another aw-worthy character: Arueshalae, a risen succubus. As a normal succubus, she had seduced and almost drained a priestess of Desna to death when she felt curious about what the priestess dreamt with and got in, only for her to find herself in front of Desna. Rather than being angry at the fact she had killed the priestess, Desna gave Arueshalae the chance to redeem herself - and she did: depending on the campaign feat you grab, her first act of redemption was to save your [=PC=] from a bunch of cultists. And when you meet her, she's just a few steps away from becoming Chaotic Good - one of which may be falling in love with one of the [=PCs=] and being corresponded.

* The start of the romance path with Valerie. She's in the tavern DrowningHerSorrows because all anyone can seem to talk about since her duel is the scar running across her face. [[https://youtu.be/D4vCw85wmoE?t=386 She snidely asks the male Baron what he thinks now that her beauty is marred]], as the rest of her [[AbhorrentAdmirer would-be suitors]] quickly evaporated.
-->'''Valerie''': (''Flushing red, Valerie turns to you with an almost daring sneer'') It would be strange to expect anything else from you. -- You, just like the rest of my admirers, now consider me... how should I put it... damaged goods! Well, where are your compliments now? Do you like ''this'' Valerie?\\
'''Male!Baron''': [[BluntYes Yes]].\\
'''Valerie''': [[FlatWhat What]]? (''[[DoubleTake Valerie stops. Blinking a few times]], she stares in your face, as if trying to find signs of deceit.'') But...\\
'''Male!Baron''': For me, you're always beautiful. Nothing could ever change that.
* At Lake Silverstep Village, Ivar managed to woo his wife, Lissa, with the following line, beating out two other suitors.
-->I came late in the evening, after all of them had left, [[RichSuitorPoorSuitor and all I brought was a bunch of wild flowers]]. I set them on the porch and said, "I saw a nixie crying in the forest. [[TheFairFolk She'd planned to make a lantern of my heart]], but she found my heart was already taken! It's bad fortune to make nixies cry, so Lady Lissa, would you go to the forest and give the heart you've taken to anyone who may need it more than you?" [[InsultOfEndearment You told me I was such a fool, and then you kissed me]].
* At the end of Jubilost's personal quest, after spending months on a wild goose chase pursuing a riddle he got from a fey, he finally figures it out and you go with him to see what it means. You arrive in a cave only to find the ghosts of a group of gnomes led by the gnome wizard Xae, who was responsible for bringing the gnomish people to Golarion thousands of years ago. Xae's ghost has been desperately struggling to reopen the portal to go back to the First World, despite having died to Bleaching long ago, but always failing. After temporarily banishing their spirits in combat, The Host who gave Jubilost the riddle shows up to speak to him, congratulating him on solving the riddle and explaining the origin of the Bleaching as promised. He also offers Jubilost a rare boon - To remove his Bleaching and offer him immortality in the First World. With a little nudging from the Baron, Jubilost ''declines'' and instead asks the Host if there's anything he can do for Xae. The Host, both surprised by the refusal and intrigued by the request, remarks that he can... and he reopens the portal ''[[TimeTravel before Xae died]]'' so the group of gnomes can go home, retroactively sparing them thousands of years of torment as ghosts and ensuring their souls are at peace. Jubilost is completely satisfied with this outcome. In the epilogue, he dedicates all his writings to Xae, although he never reveals to anyone else who this mystery person is.
* At the Inconsequent Debates, one of the competitors is a kobold, who'd brought along two [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerboa jerboas]] because the rules require teams of three, and the kobold [[FriendlessBackground has no friends]]. By the end of it, the kobold has lost ''badly'' because [[RunningGag he answered every question with "Dragon"]], tying into his wish to become one. Thankfully, the fey host liked how the kobold had made him laugh, and offers to take him into [[LandOfFaerie the First World]] as a friend - the kobold only accepts after being reassured that his jerboa companions can come along, too.
* Sometimes in a character's personal quest, other characters will intervene or comment supportively in their dialogue. Yes, pretty much everyone in your motley crew [[FireForgedFriends has a soft spot in each other]], [[TeethClenchedTeamwork however different their beliefs and views may be]].
* Linzi's event in the House at the End of Time. She pretends to turn over to Nyrissa so she can spy on her and lives long enough to tell you where the third key is hidden before being killed. Then she wakes up, her soul having been transferred in the book she's been writing your story on, bringing about a tearful reunion. One of your possible answers is to give the book a big hug.
** Hell, everyone's events in the House at the End of Time, if you played your cards right and resolved all their issues in the proper way. From Tristian and Jaethal admitting they know the other has changed/wouldn't actually hurt them, to Jubilost [[DefiantToTheEnd telling Nyrissa he'd rather die than betray a respected friend]], to Harrim and Ekun throwing off their DeathSeeker tendencies because they remembered advice you gave them, it's just fuzzy feelings and pride all around. [[TrueCompanions You are each other's people, and nothing will break that]].
* With the release of the Free DLC Arcane Unleashed, Owlcat pulled one in real life by adding in one of their Kickstarter Backer's deceased pet cat "Tiger" into the game as a free pet "so that he may roam with his human friend once more - if only in the Stolen Lands."
* Making it through to the hidden romance option has Nyrissa pop into your throneroom just as the conflict with Pitax is coming to a head, [[https://youtu.be/UQVKjPVepBQ in order to say goodbye before you come into direct conflict with her]]. Standing your ground and saying you wish things could have worked out has her remark that you're not so different, and as she turns to leave...
-->'''Nyrissa''': Do you know why I couldn't immediately recognize the intrusion, when you and the foolish little robin bard [[DreamWalker broke into my dreams]]? Because it wasn't the first time [[GirlOfMyDreams I dreamt of you.]]
* After returning Briar to her and breaking her curse, she'll come up with a new name for you - her "[[LoveRedeems Spring]]". And naturally, the conclusion (for Good characters, at least) - Nyrissa ''finally'' [[EarnYourHappyEnding gets her Kingdom]], ruling by your side to the adulation of your subjects, who have forgiven her for her crimes because of how drastic the change in her personality has been.
* A small but nice moment: while traveling through the House at the End of Time, if you free a trapped water mephit, he'll offer to let you look inside a book of Beauty, which (as its name suggests) shows the reader a picture of what they consider most beautiful. If you accept and have a LoveInterest, you'll see their image inside it.
* The climax of "Betrayer's Flight" if the baroness romanced Tristian. Throughout the questline, she has options to stress that she's worried about him and that she just wants to figure things out together. Though happy about this, he rebuffs her, considering his fate already sealed. When she finally catches up to him at the Temple of the Elk, she finds Nyrissa taunting him while he [[DeathSeeker begs Sarenrae to kill him]]. After learning the whole sordid truth about his service as TheMole and a battle with a Defaced Sister, Tristian quietly apologizes for everything and then awaits his fate. The baroness's response? She hugs him and tells him to let her bring him home.

Standing your ground and saying you wish things could have worked out has her remark that you're NotSoDifferent, and as she turns to leave...
-->'''Nyrissa''': Do you know why I couldn't immediately recognize the intrusion, when you and the foolish little robin bard [[DreamWalker broke into my dreams]]? Because it wasn't the first time [[GirlOfMyDreams I dreamt of you.]]
* After returning Briar to her and breaking her curse, she'll come up with a new name for you - her "spring".

A rare example of a {{transgender}} person being portrayed realistically, treated like any other character of the same gender and not [[TransgenderFetishization not being used for fanservice]] or [[UnsettlingGenderReveal cheap laughs or horror]]. Her description in the game book even follows the proper practise of using she/her to describe her even before coming out and never revealing her birth name (something that a lot of ''newspapers'' fail to do with real people).
