* A minor one at the end of "Flea or Die"; the fleas end up so out of control that even the fleabelt can't stop them. Aside from being picked on by the Greasers, nobody in the town outright seemed to regard them with contempt. They aren\'t banned from places because they\'re two-headed freaks. They seem to get along just fine with everybody else in Nearburg. In \"Squirrel Dog\" Cliff was just shunned by his friends, and not the town; he went to Cat Dog to learn how to live with two heads, with no ostracizing implied.

* The show "Freakshow" was a bittersweet version of this. In it CatDog try to become part of Randolph's freakshow as part of a moneymaking deal, yet no one is impressed with the spectacle. One of the spectators even thinks they're only "mildly interesting". While neither gets the chance to become part of the spotlight and earn money, it shows that the citizens have become so accustomed to Catdog's presence that they don't regard them with the same ridicule and contempt as they did in earlier seasons. Contrast that with the first season episode "Squirrel Dog" where Cliff immediately becomes shunned by his friends and the town when he thinks he's permanently attached to Eddie squirrel and had to go to CatDog for advice, suggesting ostracization was a daily occurrence for the feline/canine duo. Now, the freakiness has worn off and CatDog are no longer any different than other people.
