Four years ago, a nasty accident known as the Class 3 Fiasco got Izuku Midoriya expelled. This was a decision Nezu always regretted, especially after Izuku and his mother vanished without a trace. But what is lost may yet be found, and when the Principal finally finds the Missing Heart of Class A, none are happier than Ochako Uraraka, Toshinori Yagi and Shota Aizawa.

But Izuku has grown in those four years. He has changed. And he is no longer alone.

* SuperSenses: Two types are present in [[ArcherArchetype Kishun Aratame]] and [[BrattyTeenageDaughter Eiko]]. Kishun's Quirk, Keen Senses, is plain old-flavored enhancing of the five senses. Eiko's Absolute Balance, on the other hand, gives her a flawless sense of ''[[SuperReflexes balance]]''.

* TownGirls: Kishun, Eiko and Akari form one such trio. The flat-chested {{Tomboy}} Eiko is the butch. The gentle, dress-wearing Akari is the femme. The busty outdoors-girl Kishun is neither. Doubles as BeautyBrainsAndBrawn, with the feminine golden-haired Akari as the beauty, sheltered ArcherArchetype Kishun as the brains and former StreetUrchin Eiko as the brawn.

*** Also, the villain who controlled Izuku and started the whole story was a body-controlling Master named Hijack, the former alias of Undersiders member Regent.

* SurprisinglyGoodEnglish: In hindsight, the entire fanfic is this. The author is a French native and English is their second language. They still managed to write a fic of 33 chapters and 140 000 words, and said fic is rather popular.

* HasTwoMommies: Or, in this case, two daddies. After Mirio officially marries Tamaki, he becomes Eri's father as well. Nobody minds.

* InLoveWithYourCarnage: Bakugo is [[ADateWithRosiePalms fiercely turned on]] by Izuku squaring against the monster of Tsugaru Strait.

* TheyDo: As of Chapter 22, Izuku and Ochako are engaged.

* AlliterativeName: After marrying Mirio, Tamaki's name become '''T'''amaki '''T'''ogata. The same way, Akira's father is named '''H'''izumi '''H'''oshinami.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Changeling has ''something'' that makes her behave strangely to say the least. She often sing-songs her sentences and has an odd speech pattern, and Bakugo mentions she is often staring into space or generally has her head in the clouds. At the same time, she is surprisingly good with words, to the point Bakugo lets her handle diplomacy and knows things Bakugo and Izuku both note she shouldn't possibly know. What's her deal? No one knows, and the girl isn't talking.
** Eventually {{Averted}}. Changeling has a Quirk that lets her see how people are connected, which means she perceives the world differently, and Izuku surmises she may be on the [[UsefulNotes/{{Autism}} autistic spectrum]]. She and Bakugo are waiting for her diagnosis, and the doctors surmise they're right on the money.

* GoodPeopleHaveGoodSex: The two OfficialCouple of the story, Izuku-Ochako and Mirio-Tamaki, are often shown spending their nights being intimate, and it is always described positively and as a normal part of their life as couples.

* AdultFear: Surprisingly common.
** Class 3-A suffered a massive beatdown from the Front when they PeoplePuppet -ed the strongest of them into attacking them. Sure they feel bad, but the person who was controlled is among the nicest of them and someone they all care for, and he ''really'' doesn't feel good. Then he gets expelled. Then he vanishes. Radio silence for four years during which they have no idea whether he's alive, dead or has joined the Front. And they all blame each other for the mess.
** Izayoi Hoshinami watched her husband take increasing amounts of [[PsychoSerum Trigger]] and was forced to drug herself to keep up and limit his rampage, out of the fear he may hurt their son. [[EyeScream One day, she wasn't strong enough]].
** Following the Battle of Coruscant, Izuku spent the next two months nervous at the thought of the Front sniffing around his hometown and hurting his students or his mother, and he outright says he will bring the sky on the head of anyone foolish enough to try.
** Hotaru and Lucianne Kinatsui lost their five-year-old daughter to kidnappers. Even though Akari turned safe, they still died during the Battle of Coruscant Ward, ignorant of their daughter's fate unto the very end.
** Yuga Aoyama openly admits he is terrified at the thought of losing his parents, especially after he lost his uncle and aunt in the conflict. That's why he strongly suggests they move from Kyoto - and his parents agree.
** Being estranged from your AddledAddict twin sister is one thing. Learning your twin sister got a child you never heard about, lost custody of said child following an incident that left them blind, and learning about them during an incident where they had to ''[[ChildrenForcedToKill kill their own father]]'' is something else altogether. No wonder Manual panicked.

* WeaponOfChoice: Each of Izuku's students have a weapon they favor, except for [[BareFistedMonk Hayate]]. Sami uses a custom-grown [[SimpleStaff quarterstaff]], Kishun trains [[TheStraightAndArrowPath archery]], Eiko wields [[HiddenWeapons Assassin-style hidden blades]], Akira uses his white cane but Mei is working on making it [[TelescopingStaff telescopic]], Jiyu uses a pair of telekinetically-controlled DeadlyDisc, Akari uses her Quirk to make [[LaserBlade literal lightsabers]], Himai uses either [[WhipItGood his ribbon after loading the tip]] or [[EpicFlail his poi]], and he can set either [[IncendiaryExponent on fire]].

* RealityEnsues: Even if you are a Pro, an ambush you don't expect ''will'' get you.
** No matter how strong he is, Izuku remains a civilian. His Provisional Hero License expired when he was expelled so he cannot use his powers without a special authorization or a very serious reason.
*** A later chapter reveals that Izuku has been offered a Provisional Hero License so he could aid the Aomori Pros legally, but he has chosen to reject the offer.
** Even if you're good at what you do, a job remains a job and you should be paid for it. Because Izuku went above and beyond in his teaching of Eri, Nezu is compelled to pay him consequently and ends up giving him a huge check. The same way, Eri's healing abilities won't come for free. Heroes who want to be Rewound will have to pay for the treatment, in no small part because of the paycheck Izuku received.

* ItsPersonal: Shigaraki hasn't forgiven Doctor Garaki for attempting to implant All for One in his mind and jumps at the chance to take him out, even if he had to ally with Izuku and the League of Heroes.

** Izuku learns in Chapter 35 that [[spoiler:the monsters in the Surigao Strait were created by a girl that was trying to stop Nomu from attacking Hokkaido.]]

* ArborealAbode: Noraneko Foyer's dorms and the Treetop Agency are realistic exemples courtesy of [[GreenThumb Sami's]] [[TheBiomancer Quirk]].
* ArtInitiatesLife: This is the true origin of the monster of Tsugaru Strait. A girl drew him to life to defend Hokkaido from the [[{{Foreshadowing}} "brainy monsters"...]] who turn to be Nomus. And the girl has drawn more than Ryujin to defend the Strait, outright summoning [[OlympusMons Lugia, Amatsu and Fatalis]] to protect her home.

* AwakeningTheSleepingGiant: Izuku is completely uninterested in getting involved in the Front/League conflict. He is also one if not the strongest person in Japan and his students possess macro-scale Quirks or skills to compensate their weaker Quirks. Nezu is quick to realize that getting on his bad side is a stupid idea… and the Front is well on its way of doing just that.

** Eventually {{Averted}}. Changeling has a Quirk that lets her see how people are connected, which means she perceives the world differently, and Izuku surmises she may be on the [[UsefulNotes/{{Autism}} autistic spectrum]]. However, she hasn't been diagnosed yet.
