** In "Ultimate Origins," the TomicaHeroRescueForce appears extremely briefly in a single chapter. They do not even get a name in this cameo, just mentions of all their colors and their single, massive zord.

* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Tommy beats the cocky and power-hungry Eltarian mage Raisik way back in Year Two's epilogue episode "Dying Planet." Raisik shows up again briefly during Year Five when the entire universe is at war as a minor antagonist, but then in Next Generation Year One he comes back in full force to attack a weakened, post-Champions Saga Earth.

In the aftermath, the Rangers slip into an [[MirrorUniverse alternate reality where evil has won.]] Later still, Tommy experiences a dream-vision where he takes control of a young boy named [[BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger Asuka]] on the twin-dimension of Dino Earth.

The team soon has to battle the vengeance-driven Thunder Rangers, who eventually join the team, and they are also aided by the Shurikenger. Billy, meanwhile, activates his second Ranger team, [[ChoujinSentaiJetman J-Force,]] with devastating results, drawing the Vyram to Earth.

* LoadsandLoadsofCharacters: When you feature at least two teams of Rangers every year, plus their supporting cast, plus at least one group of villains per Ranger team, with a story stretching for 15 years, you tend to have this happen.

** The origins of the SPD Omega Ranger, Sam. Since SPD's chapters were sidelined to focus on the main story, Sam's appearance near the end of "Ultimate Origins" was explained directly from RyuRanger: Sam came from a special SixthRanger Academy meant to help out the SPD bases in times of need, not from the future per the show.
