He formed a group of scientists as crazy as he is, keeping his experiments off of the eyes of those who despised him for that. He plans his vengeance in secret, aiming to take back his place and write any taboo off of the fighting field so he can take his place back. [[spoiler:Also, he secretly planned for over 40 years to become God, sewing seeds of corruption by taking away parts of his soul to corrupt other people, to take the parts back when they'll have grown with the persons he sowed those into and become a God. This makes him responsible for one supposed sickness.]]

* DivergentCharacterEvolution: From the start. Mashin gave her genetic material belonging to [[PayEvilUntoEvil Fuushi]] and [[HotBlooded Karyu]] on top of Houka's.

* ExpendableClone: She's treated as such by Mashin, her creator, and Ringoto doesn't even spare a thought — he even refuses her to talk to the only person who could understand her: Eiko. She never lives it down even though she dies furthering their goals, though at that point she doesn't care.
* GoroawaseNumber: Her attack codes. Most mean nothing or are pronounced completely wrong, or result in GratuitousEnglish.
* KnightOfCerebus: She first appears to stall for Ringoto's escape. This means [[TheBadGuysWin Operation G is a success]], and since Mashin gets out unspotted, Team Magou's machinations were for naught. She's also the first to talk about killing someone, and even though she's not the first to succeed and only gets a MutualKill, her arrival shifted the tone to dark.
* NeverSayDie: Of course, she's the one to break the trope in half. Even referenced in her ''Type 504 - Mureishi / Hitokiri no Honoo'' (Spiritless Death / Killing Flame) attack.

* AbusiveParents: Natsuki gave him harsh treatments that made it all the harder to keep training. He went the {{Determinator}} way through that.

* ItsAllAboutMe: To a degree. He still considers whatever his team needs, but he doesn't give anything about the rest of the anti-Operation-G teams. [[spoiler:He willingly triggers Akemi's insanity because it deprives Operation G supporters of Setsuna, who is a major fighting force.]]

* NotSoDifferent: [[HeWhoFightsMonsters He is as ruthless and uncaring as his stepmother.]] [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame He isn't glad when she points this out.]] [[spoiler:He starts to mellow out once he kills her.]]
