* DoesNotLikeShoes: As Eto, she only wears bandages which cover her heels, but expose her soles and toes, leaving her essentially barefoot.

* TheDarkChick: Karao Saeki or "Torso", the shy and awkward (though picky and still very dangerous) odd-man out, is obsessed with searching for his opposite Mutsuki over even attempting to help his "teammates".

* ShortHairWithTail: Short hair, with a pair of short tails.

* ADateWithRosiePalms: His diary entry from Volume 4 of the manga reveals that he does this frequently while thinking of Mutsuki.

* TheAntichrist: The daughter of a human and a ghoul, sought since birth by a secret organization that considers her mere existence a threat to the world's order. Eto gleefully embraces this trope, leading people towards temptation and ruin, sowing seeds of doubt and resentment, and destroying everything she touches. She even has a mass of followers in Aogiri, the largest and most dangerous Ghoul organization known.

* BathKick: She does this, demonstrating that [[spoiler:her legs have fully regenerated]].

* PoisonousFriend: His jealousy causes him to repeatedly hamper Chie's efforts to help Tsukiyama, and later results in him taking a hit out on the Quinx for being in Tsukiyama's way. Eto goes further, suggesting he was happiest with Tsukiyama under his control.

* KatanasAreJustBetter: Unlike the CCG, V agents are shown to use katanas as their WeaponOfChoice.

* KnifeNut: While he mostly fights using a katana, he's very proficient with knives as well. [[spoiler: When he pulls one out against Takeomi and blocks the latter's strike with it, Takeomi even wonders what he's going to do with such a weapon, only for Kaiko to flick it overhead and nail Takeomi in the shoulder, all while still engaged in a blade lock.]]

* NiceHat: His "mask" is actually a decorative hat with a widow's veil.

** And then [[WhamEpisode Chapter 56]] shows how she can [[UpToEleven top that:]] [[spoiler:her kakuja grows extra limbs, ''mouths on top of more mouths'', gains several more eyes randomly distributed over her mask, and all while said mouths are ''still'' talking independently from each other, but with [[WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity added insanity]] and [[RuleOfSymbolism symbolism.]]]]

* LightningBruiser: Noro is ''incredibly'' fast, and hits like a ton of bricks. Very little is capable of surviving an attack from his kagune, while his regeneration allows him to shrug off [[UpToEleven anything]] thrown at him.

* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Or purple as the case may be if this isn't along the lines of PurpleIsTheNewBlack.

* TheHedonist: She surrounds herself with luxuries and pleasures, from fine jewellery and art to human "pets" and the finest "gourmet" meals.

* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Besides the outright sexual elements in his feeding, his attack on Mutsuki is particularly disturbing due to resembling real violence against {{Transgender}} men.

* CinderellaCircumstances: While he's treated fairly well, there's still the fact that Kanae's only surviving relatives made him work as a servant rather than simply taking him in.

* GreaterScopeVillain: Considering that they have sustained the existence of the current relationship between humans and Ghouls, are indicated to be Eto's true enemy and are said to control the CCG, they fit the bill quite nicely.

* ZettaiRyouiki: She pairs incredibly short skirts with stockings or boots.
