The Medici family's top assassin, she was the one who murdered Ms. Fortune's Fishbone Gang members and (with the aide of her henchwomen) cut Nadia Fortune into pieces (even though Nadia already swallowed the life gem). [[folder:D. Violet]]

Mrs. Victoria's alter-ego, a dominatrix superhero. She wields the Pazuzu whip and has attacks based on Pagan themes and innuendos.

----
* AllThereInTheManual: Unlike nearly all of the other characters on this list, D. Violet doesn't appear in the game at all. However, she did appear in concept artwork (and her alter-ego already appears in the game).
* DarkIsNotEvil: What Batman is to flying rodents, she is to Dominatrix gear.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Pazuzu has a rather... suggestive bulging vein, and its drool is thick and white. Not to mention its serpentine mouth. [[ShmuckBait Google what part of the god Pazuzu resembled a serpent. Go ahead, do it.]] Not to mention that it can ''"change rigidity when needed''". And yes, that is a direct quote from the site.

Despite Annie's appearance, she is an old veteran fighter that has battled many previous Skullgirls, and her childish body is due to her parents wishing for her to be eternally young. Currently stars in a TV series in the Canopy Kingdom that warns of the dangers of the Skull Heart and the Skullgirl. Her rabbit doll is actually a remote parasite named Sagan, who holds her right eyeball in his mouth.

----
* TheAgeless: Thanks to her parents and the Skullheart.

* [[ForHalloweenIAmGoingAsMyself For Television I Am Starring As Myself]]: Now she has both kinds of [[IncrediblyLamePun star power]].
* FusionDance / MidSeasonUpgrade: One of her proposed Supers has her fusing with Sagan, regaining her eye and getting FrillsOfJustice in the process.
* GirlishPigtails: Braided ones.
* GoshDarnitToHeck: Generally, she tries not to let her vocabulary give away her true age. Most of her old art has a RunningGag of her about to say "Damn it!", but catching herself at the last second: "Dam-''[[LastSecondWordSwap Darn]]'' it!"
* MagicalGirlWarrior: Evokes the trope.
* MeaningfulName / PunnyName: Annie is based off the [=ANIme=] trope of [[MagicalGirlWarrior Magical Girls]].
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: Minor case, her (remaining) eye is in a more {{Animesque}} style than the rest of the cast.

----
* AscendedExtra: Appears as a background character in the Lab 8 stage.
* BadassLongcoat: It's a labcoat. May also have {{Hammerspace}} pockets, since he apparently carries a number of weapons in it (including sports implements like baseball bats).

A member and subject of Anti-Skullgirl Lab 8. Disfigured during the war, she agreed to be grafted with the Synthetic Parasite, Salamander Shell. She is an old-generation ASG operative along with Big Band and the two have been involved in two previous Skullgirl events. Despite her horrific appearance, she is a kind motherly figure to the younger members of Lab 8.

----
* AscendedExtra: Appears as a background character in the Lab 8 stage.
* BadPowersGoodPeople
* BodyHorror: She appears to be a humanoid made entirely out of intestines.
* LovecraftianSuperpower: Particularly extreme example: Able to squeeze into tiny spaces, able to sprout small drills for use in attacks, can spit highly-corrosive poison at enemies, and the previously mentioned "looks like a humanoid made entirely out of intestines".
* MeaningfulName: The Ileum is a part of the small intestine, and as mentioned before, she appears to be completely made of them.
* PoisonIsCorrosive: Her powers allow her to spit or spray a highly toxic substance that is also able to melt living flesh into a puddle.
* ScarsAreForever: She was horribly disfigured in the Grand War.

* BashBrothers: In his proposed play-style he and Tommy Ten-Tons would be this. Possible attacks include [[AmusingInjuries punching Tommy across the stage torward your opponent and tripping him to cause an Earthquake effect.]]
* Fan: Despite being a boxing anvil he's seems to like watching wrestling more and is a fan of Beowulf in particular.
* MetaGuy: He apparently saw the same montage that the audience saw of Peacock putting her hat, gloves and teeth on/in. He's disturbed by her apparent lack of hygiene and asks Avery if she took a bath or brushed her teeth (with metal polish?). [[FourthWallObserver Avery responds that all of that was implied]] [[TheLawOfConservationOfDetail but it's not something the audience needs to see.]]

[[folder:Feng]]
[[quoteright:175:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/20130301101437-dlc_feng_285.png]]

An acrobat in the Cirque des Cartes and Cerebella's room mate. She represents the Ace cards in the circus's playing card theme, and fights using her acrobatic style and the ghost birds on her head.

----
* ACupAngst: Briefly [[ImpliedTrope implied]] in one panel of Cerebella's story mode. Feng is seen sweating and look none-too-amused when Cerebella's [[BuxomIsBetter much larger]] chest is seen [[http://images.wikia.com/skullgirls/images/b/b3/Cerebella_and_Feng.PNG in close proximity to Feng's own]]. In the WorldOfBuxom that is ''Skullgirls'', Feng stands out due to her ''lack'' of assets.
* AnimeChineseGirl: Gives this impression. She is from the local {{Wutai}}[=-=]analogue, wears a modified {{qipao}}, and her ColorMotif implies the [[DragonsUpTheYinYang yin-yang]] symbol. Unlike [[BodyHorror Painwheel]], she's a rather cute example.
* {{Bifauxnen}}: Her short hair and flat chest made many initially mistake her for a [[{{Bishonen}} feminine-looking guy]].
** ViewerGenderConfusion
* BoyishShortHair
* ChekhovsGunman: Has a speaking role in Cerebella's story.
* ColorMotif: Black and white, to symbolize the yin-yang symbol. Her hair is mostly black with the front being white, and as detailed below, her birds also follow the same motif.
* DragonsUpTheYinYang: The yin-yang one, at least, as part of her ColorMotif. Her hair is black and white, and her birds are black with a single (very long) white feather and white eyes and white with a single (very long) black feather and black eyes, so presumably they're also meant imply the symbol.
* {{Gayngster}}
* {{Head Pet}}s: Usually seen with her birds in her hair. [[JustifiedTrope This makes more sense than most examples of this trope]], though, since the birds are ''very'' tiny.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Concepts include using her birds as projectile attacks.
* IncompatibleOrientation: WordOfGay mentions she has a crush on the heterosexual Cerebella.
* JustifiedCriminal[=/=]SympatheticCriminal: She serves the mafia to get money for her family.
* LoyalAnimalCompanion
* MagicMisfire[=/=]EpicFail: How she got her birds. Natives of the Dragon Kingdom are known to practice geomancy, but Feng is grotesquely unskilled in that particular area -- so much so that when she rearranged the furniture in her apartment, the resulting feng shui was so bad that it ''opened a portal to the afterlife''.
* NoPronunciationGuide: Is her name pronounced "Feng", "Fung", or "Fong"? "Feng" is the most common pronunciation amongst fans, but when discussed in streams by the dev team it's been pronounced "[[TakeAThirdOption Feeng]]".
* PunnyName: Feng, as in feng shui, as in the MagicMisfire that caused her to get her birds.
* {{Qipao}}: A shorter, looser-than-average one.
* SkunkStripe: A variation: the front third of her hair is white while the rest is black.
* StraightGay
* TokenGoodTeammate: Along with Cerebella [[spoiler:and Filia]], she is this for the Medici mafia.

[[folder:Hubrecht]]

A strongman in the Cirque de Cartes, he is based on the heart suit of cards. A good-natured gentle giant.

* AmbiguouslyGay
* AndCallHimGeorge: His fighting style is based off being rougher than he intends to be. For example, one of his grabs is a noogie.
* AscendedExtra: Appears in Cerebella's story.
* BadassMustache
* BadassNormal: No Living Weapons, no Parasites, no swallowed artifacts. Just muscles and playfulness.
* CompositeCharacter: A cross between Mr. Heart from ''Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar'' and Heart Aino from ''VideoGame/ArcanaHeart''.
* Expy. Given his build, his facial features/hair, and being AmbiguouslyGay, the parallels with [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Alex Armstrong]] cannot be a coincidence.
* GentleGiant
* IdiotHair
* ObliviouslyEvil: He has absolutely no idea that he works part-time as a mafia hitman. All he thinks he's doing is [[AndCallHimGeorge giving people hugs.]]
* RoseHairedSweetie: A rare male example.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Regina]]

The domineering beast tamer at the Cirque des Cartes, she commands a wide range of creatures including several outlandish specimens. She derives no pleasure from her cruelty as it is simply in her cold nature to control others by any means necessary as she does indeed deeply care about her fellow performers. The troupe ultimately answers to Regina, not the ringleader. Her design is based on the Queen face cards.

----
* AscendedExtra: Appears in Cerebella's story.
* TheBeastmaster: To be expected from from the troupe's beast tamer.
** AssistCharacter / PuppetFighter: Her proposed play-style could make heavy use of both with animals possibly coming from off-screen to help her or standing beside her and attacking when commanded. She could also command them to attack in various ways while she fights alongside them and applies additional pressure.
* {{Bifauxnen}}: Though it's more ViewerGenderConfusion (despite her obviously feminine figure) than her actually looking masculine.
* CleopatraNose: It looks kind of similar to Irvin's which has [[WildMassGuessing spawned theories about a possible connection between them.]]
* ControlFreak: Her description paints her as being this way by nature. Both torwards the animals she trains and the circus members she leads.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: A riding crop and stool, to be exact. along with being TheBeastmaster.
* IronLady: It's noted she's the real head of the troupe. (Keep in mind that the devs, while offering Regina as a possibility, have ''not'' expressed any definite intentions of making the troupe's actual ''ringleader'' a playable character.)
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: As her description states: she's cold and controlling but she cares underneath it all.
* LadyOfWar: Certainly has the look of one, anyway.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: Her face is less {{Animesque}} than the rest of the females in the cast. Probably because she's a bit older than most of them and would probably be more "beautiful" than "cute" at that age.
* RegalRinglets: As befitting her Queen motif.
* WhipItGood: She wields a riding crop and is described as being pretty quick with it.
* YouGottaHaveBlueHair: Has purple hair.
** BlondesAreEvil: She used to have blonde hair. It can be seen when she makes her [[TheCameo cameo]] in Cerebella's story.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Beatrix]]
[[quoteright:166:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dlc_beatrix_7831.png]]

A magician in the Cirque des Cartes, she has the ability to store knives in her body without seemingly injuring herself. Not only are they rivals, Beatrix's bitter, jaded personality is a stark contrast to Cerebella's cheerfulness. Her design is based on the Club suit.

----
* AscendedExtra: Appears in Cerebella's story.
* BagOfHolding: Her Cloak of Damocles.
* TheCameo: Appears in the River King Casino stage sometimes and makes another cameo in Fukua's trailer.
* PerpetualFrowner
* KnifeNut: She looks like a knife throwing act gone horribly wrong. This picture shows off her affinity for knives (and hatred of Cerebella) pretty well. [[http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/1459657]]
* TheRival: To Cerebella, as as noted above.
* StageMagician
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ottomo]]

A member of the Medici Mafia family, Ottomo is Lorenzo's mechanical henchman and bodyguard. He's piloted by Tom, a tiny, foul-mouthed Dagonian engineer. Tom is an ex-member of Anti-Skullgirl Lab 4 and was a colleague of Stanley. Tom sold out to the Mafia and, before leaving, stole the M3 (Mighty Metal Man) unit from the lab. While Tom is a cigar-smoking, womanizing, ill-tempered drunkard when he's out of the suit (much to Lorenzo's annoyance), Ottomo is more refined.

----
* AscendedExtra: Appears as a background character in the Medici Tower stage. [[spoiler:Peacock is also seen with Ottomo's head in her ending]].
* BattleButler: Kinda.
* CigarChomper: Tom
* DanceBattler: At the very least, he was proposed as having the moonwalk for his backward walking animation, and doing the Smooth Criminal lean for his pushblock.
* FishPerson: He ''is'' a Dagonian. A post on [[WordOfGod Ahad's]] Tumblr mentions that he's a salamander, though it's unknown if that still stands, since salamanders hardly count as aquatic creatures. That said, his pink skin makes him look more like a naked mole rat than anything else.
* HyperspaceArsenal: Tom apparently has a ridiculous array of lethal weaponry crammed into his suit.
* MobileSuitHuman: Well, Mobile Suit Larger Dagonian, but the principle is the same.

----
* BadassAdorable
* ChekhovsGunman: Appears in Ms. Fortune's story and as a background character in the Little Innsmouth stage.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Not shown in the current game, but her playstyle is based off this.
* CuteMonsterGirl: She's quite a bit more human looking than most of the other Dagonians.
* DamselOutOfDistress: Her story mode (If she is SavedForTheSequel that is) [[spoiler:tells of her attempts to escape her kidnapping at the end of Ms. Fortune's story mode.]]
* FishPeople: Though her "hair" is more evocative of a tadpole's tail.
* HeroWorshipper: To [[CoolBigSis Ms. Fortune]].
* LethalJokeCharacter: She's been described as playing similarly to [[VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3 Phoenix Wright]]'s partner Maya (inflicting damage via means of clumsiness) except not being bad.
* TheUglyGuysHotDaughter: Minette is the River King's daughter. If the logo of his casino -- and the giant (possibly ''life-size'') statue of him in the forthcoming Casino stage -- are accurate, she looks ''nothing'' like him. (The River King, to be blunt, looks like a humpback whale with a giant John Greenleaf Whittier chinstrap beard.)
* VagueAge: Gives the impression she's around the same age as Ms. Fortune, but she appears to look up to Nadia as if she were a big sister. The fact she works as a waitress and the Medici goons hitting on her suggest she's at least around the same age as Filia and Painwheel.

[[folder:Scythana]]

A gigantic half-Gigan who was arrested by the Black Egrets. She broke out.

----
* ChainedByFashion: She's still handcuffed after her escape.
* ChekhovsGunman: She was briefly mentioned on the Canopy Kingdom News during Parasoul's story mode, telling about her recent arrest.
* DoesNotLikeShoes: Justified given her sharp claw-like toenails.
* {{Expy}}: Arguably of [[VideoGame/FinalFight Cody]], particularly his appearances in the ''Franchise/StreetFighter'' series from ''[[VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha Alpha 3]]'' onwards, with the prison suit and the handcuffs.
* ExtremityExtremist / KickChick: Justified since her hands are still cuffed, she mostly uses her feet to fight instead.
* GrievousHarmWithABody: In team fights she'll have the ability to pick up fallen enemies and teammates to use as a weapon. In solo matches, a substitute will be provided.
* HalfHumanHybrid

----
* AlmightyJanitor: Despite being a BadassNormal, his skills are usually relegated to fetching ice cream for Umbrella.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: His Polish last name and grey-colored eyes have led many to conclude he's Slavic, or at least the Skullverse equivalent.
* AscendedExtra: Appears in Parasoul's story.
* AwesomeMcCoolName: ''Adam Kapowski''.
* BadassNormal
** OvershadowedByAwesome: He's a highly competent, elite soldier, but because he has no outstanding skills aside from being good with kids, he's relegated to babysitting Umbrella.
* ButtMonkey: See AlmightyJanitor.
* TheCameo: His first appearance in actual gameplay is in the [[BallroomBlitz Glass Canopy]] stage, seen in the background dancing with Umbrella.
* EliteMook: In his proposed battle style, the first two thirds of his health would be represented by faceless Black Egrets with Adam himself taking to the stage for the last 33%. He could have attacks that the other two would not.
* TheGenericGuy: Compared to the other, more fantastical characters, Adam stands out by ''not'' standing out. He actually gained [[EnsembleDarkhorse a surprising amount of popularity]] for it.
* HelmetsAreHardlyHeroic: The only fully uniformed Black Egret seen without a helmet.
* HyperspaceArsenal: His concepts include fighting with a large amount of weapons. [[VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3 Chris Redfield]] was one of the inspirations for his playstyle, after all.

A mysterious man, by trade an archaeologist, who owns an equally mysterious device -- the Time Glove -- that allows him to jump back and forth through time.

----
* AdventurerArchaeologist: By necessity. He discovered something during the same dig that uncovered the Theonite he uses to time travel that has resulted in him being hunted.
* BadassBeard
* TheCoatsAreOff: His proposed intro would have him disappearing, then reappearing sans coat. At the end of the match, he'll appear from the past to hand his coat to his victorious self or drape it over his defeated self.
* EinsteinHair
* HeKnowsTooMuch: He discovered ''something'' during a dig that someone ''seriously'' wants to cover up.
* InterfaceScrew: One of his theoretical super moves would temporarily speed up the round timer, making it easy for him to win via time-over.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: Based physically on fashion designer Kevin Stewart, AKA "[[MemeticMutation Professor Badass]]".
* TimeParadox: If his future self damages his opponent, but is prevented from performing the time jump later on, his opponent retroactively gets the health back, since the damage technically never happened.
* TrickedOutGloves: Uses one to have the ability to TimeTravel.
* UnexpectedCharacter: All the other potential characters previously appeared in the game, were mentioned in the game before, or were AllThereInTheManual; Isaac was included in the prospective characters list because of Mike Z.'s enthusiasm for his playstyle.
** Because of this, the reveal of Isaac's appearance caused a bit of SuddenlyEthnicity. Quite a few people thought he would be white.
* {{Unobtanium}}: His gauntlet is powered by a unique variant of "Theonite" he discovered in one of his digs.
* XMeetsY: He's essentially IndianaJones as played by [[Film/BackToTheFuture Doc Brown]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Samson]]

A "darker" Samson than the normal one, the origin of which is unclear.

----
* AlternateTimeline: A suggested origin of his existence. The other is that it's a trick by Double.
* DarkerAndEdgier: While the normal Samson is a bit rough and sometimes flings Filia about while fighting he has concern for her well-being. This one has his Filia bound up using some unspecified horrible method.
* MovesetClone: Being basically the same being, he uses larger versions of Filia/Samson's attack but with a more brutal, feral approach.
* MythologyGag: Presumably based on the original concept of Samson, which was quite a lot darker than his current incarnation and manipulative of Filia.
* OneWingedAngel: His design comes from an earlier gameplay concept where all the cast had monstrous super modes.
* PrimalStance: His artwork has him standing on all fours.
* PuppeteerParasite: Samson takes over Filia.
* TopHeavyGuy: He makes Panzerfaust's legs look sturdy.

A scientist from Anti-Skullgirl Lab 8. Created Peacock [[spoiler: and dies in her Story Mode.]]

----
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Another counter-example.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Roberto Contiello]]
Squigly's deceased father and the previous host of Levithan. When Squigly became a zombie he transferred Leviathan to Squigly, releasing her from the control of [[spoiler: his wife Selene,]] the Skullgirl from 14 years ago.

----
* HeroicSacrifice: Transferring Leviathan to Squigly. [[spoiler: Roberto was apparently killed by the Medici and revived by Selene's wish on the Skull Heart. When he transfers Leviathan, he tells him not to let anyone touch Squigly, including Roberto himself. The implication is that without Leviathan, he became a mindless servant to the Skullgirl.]]

[[folder:Selene]]
Squigly's deceased mother and [[spoiler: the Skullgirl from 14 years ago, predating Queen Nancy and Marie.]] During her birthday party, Selene was given [[spoiler: the Skull Heart]] as a present from a mysterious stranger. [[spoiler: The stranger was actually Double, who had told the Medici family that the Contiellos had possessed the Heart. The Medici family crashed the party and began killing the Contiello family, including Squigly. Surviving the initial assault, Selene wished on the Skull Heart to bring her family back to life and became the Skullgirl.]]

----
* LukeIAmYourFather: A variation. [[spoiler: The reveal that Squigly's mother was a Skullgirl [[WhamEpisode is a surprise to the player]], but not to Squigly.]]
* PosthumousCharacter
* PredecessorVillain: [[spoiler: She was the Skullgirl before Marie and Queen Nancy.]]
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler: To Double.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Trinity]]
The figures at the center of one of the Canopy Kingdom's major religions. [[spoiler:Also the beings that Double speaks for to issue orders to Marie. Seem to consist of two sisters: Aeon, who controls time, and Venus, who controls space, as well as their enigmatic "Mother".]]

----
* BiggerBad: Granted that they are the ones responsible for the Skull Heart.
%% * BigBadEnsemble
* BodyHorror: [[spoiler:Venus's]] way of fighting is manipulate space to grow monstrous out her body. Also she has mouths where her ribs are supossed to be.
* ChekhovsGunman / EarlyBirdCameo: As of the Non-{{Canon}} storylines, they appear in statue and stained-glass-window form in the background of the Grand Cathedral and Final Atrium stages, only appearing in the flesh in [[spoiler: Double's]] {{Cliffhanger}} ending.
* CrystalDragonJesus
* EyesAlwaysShut: Aeon.
* [GodIsEvil: Implied due to the fact that we're talking about a trinity that's served by someone who dresses up like a nun (at least when not fighting).
* {{Hikikomori}}: Aeon is stated to be a shut-in {{otaku}} according to her bio in the vote-in character details. [[spoiler:It explains the collection in the room we meet her...]]
* HumanoidAbomination
** EldritchAbomination: While it could be argued that they could be this, [[spoiler: Venus' concept description seems to imply she is this, since the true form of her and her parasite "[[YouCannotGraspTheTrueForm exist beyond the threshold of human comprehension"]].]]
* ImpossibleHourglassFigure: [[spoiler: Aeon takes this to the extreme, having a [[http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/1232/perfectwaifu.png literal hourglass in place of a torso]].]]
* NoNameGiven: The Mother's name is unknown, though one of Double's intro quotes suggests it's [[spoiler: Lamia]].
* OneBadMother: The Mother.
* {{Ouroboros}}: [[spoiler:Aeon's parasite Khronos.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: Venus, the restless one who manipulates space (red) alongside Aeon, the observant one who controls time. (blue)
* RoseHairedSweetie: Aeon.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Venus.
* SexySpectacles: Venus.
* [[HeWhoMustNotBeSeen She Who Must Not Be Seen]]: The Mother. [[spoiler:Her cameos are in the form of a statue and a window in the catheral's stage and Double's ending as a shadow.]]
* SiblingYinYang: See RedOniBlueOni above.
* SpaceMaster and TimeMaster: Venus and Aeon respectively.
* {{Stripperific}}: Venus. Even beyond Ms. Fortune or even D. Violet; Venus only ''uses lingerie.''
* TerribleTrio
* VaginaDentata: [[spoiler:Venus Lovelace is apparently host to a trio of parasites in her abdomen that fight on her behalf. While they're not actually housed in her vagina, [[http://wiki.shoryuken.com/Skullgirls/Venus the allusion to it is undeniable]].]]
* VisualPun: [[spoiler:Aeon has a hourglass for torso. She has a literal ImpossibleHourglassFigure.]]
** [[spoiler: The mouths that grow from Venus' ribs and stomach? They're called ''Ab''-baddon parasites.]]
* WalkingSpoiler: There's a reason why they haven't made any ''real'' appearences in the game (Other than the {{Cliffhanger}} ending).
* YaoiFangirl: Aeon is hinted to be one by her collection, which includes a Taliesin/Beowulf doujin.
** There's also [[AmbiguouslyBi a bodypillow with Ms. Fortune on it]].

[[folder: Skull Heart]]
The Macguffin everyone's after. A mystical item that can grant any wish, but if the wisher's heart has any slight bit of darkness, it will take over their body and claim it as its own for its own destructive ends.

----
* AffablyEvil: On occassion. It's nice enough to tell [[spoiler: Filia that while she will become a Skullgirl, her transformation will still be slow and she should make the most of the time she has.]]
* ArtifactOfDoom
* AsLongAsThereIsEvil: [[spoiler: It gets destroyed in a few of the endings, though seems to imply this is only a temporary solution at best and it will return in some form or another. It seems the only way to truly be rid of it is a person with a pure heart to wish on it, but a world just coming off a war with mafias ruling a good majority of it and everyone fighting to claim the thing makes finding a likely candidate difficult, unless The Trinity has any indication.]]
** [[spoiler: The artbook indicates that the Skull Heart reappears every seven years, regardless of what happens to it.]]
* DemonicPossession[=/=]GrandTheftMe: Implied that's how it's survived for so long.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Its victims have this in the form of half a skull on each pupil.
* HannibalLecture: Does this in a few of the endings. Mostly to those that try to destroy it.
* JerkassGenie: Well half and half; it will grant a wish but often at the cost of the wisher's body if it senses any darkness. Not to say it's not reasonable [[spoiler:as shown in Filia's ending]]. In the case of Queen Renoir, it granted her wish for an end to the great war by making her into a Skullgirl so powerful that the warring kingdoms were ''forced'' to stop fighting and band together to kill her.
* LivingMacGuffin: It's sentient.

[[folder: Gilgamesh]]

!!Rejected Character
[[folder: Juju]]

The former sniper of the Black Egrets who was initially supposed to be considered as a future DLC character. Unfortunately because her design sprang from a suggestion made by a fan who proceeded to be less-than-civil about the situation, she eventually became ExiledFromContinuity.

----
* AscendedExtra: Juju was planned to become a fully playable character, rather than just a name, before being struck from canon. Parasoul originally had a chance of calling Juju by name when using the Silent Scope super, but this was DummiedOut after the incident occurred. See the Trivia page for details.
* AssistCharacter: Like the other Black Egrets, she was one to Parasoul, despite never appearing onscreen in battle. Parasoul's Silent Scope Blockbuster is her radioing Juju to shoot her opponent.
* ExiledFromContinuity
* SmallGirlBigGun: Her gun is bigger than she is.
* SniperRifle
* ThirteenIsUnlucky: Her codename is "Number 13"
