Hell, even if he didn't kill Doppio, by the time Aerosmith came in, Doppio had lost '''a lot of blood''' and the only wound Nero had was a lost foot - Diavolo even admits that [[spoiler: he wouldn't have been able to use the full extent of King Crimson because of the lost blood and iron]] and Risotto's Stand can become '''staples''' that can hold his limbs together effortlessly.

* HeKnowsTooMuch: [[spoiler:The reason why Diavolo wants to kill her. Despite the fact that Trish knows ''nothing'' about who he really is. Diavolo is just that paranoid.]]

** Attempted to use Gelato and Sorbet as expressions of how he didn't want anyone finding out his identity. This lead to La Squadra, ''a very competent and dangerous assassin team'', rebelling two years before the plot. Their leader, Risotto Nero, basically has an InstantDeathRadius.

* FightingSpirit[=/=]WeirdnessMagnet: Played to the extreme, unlike other Stands. In ASB, although everyone else has a punch or a kick that they perform themselves, even Johnny, Diavolo's entire move set is done by King Crimson, Stand on or off. It's also likely the strongest Stand in existance, as a single punch does what RapidFireFisticuffs does for every one else and be fatal.

* GlassCannon: While King Crimson is able to accomplish what [[RapidFireFisticuffs Star Platinum, The World, and Crazy Diamond]] can do in a [[MegatonPunch single blow]], its durability is absolutely ''abysmal'' compared to them.

* {{Hunk}}: In contrast of Kira's SalaryMan appearance, Diavolo is [[MrFanservice completely ripped]], as well as being the first villain besides Kars to be [[WalkingShirtlessScene shirtless]].

* LightningBruiser: King Crimson has shown to be able to easily parry, react to, and even outmaneuver faster-than-light Stands like Silver Chariot, Sticky Fingers, and Gold Experience, even without the use of Epitaph. King Crimson's speed may be comparable to that of even Star Platinum. Likewise, his strength is incredible, and he can rip apart opponents with a single MegatonPunch, rather than using RapidFireFisticuffs like other powerful Stands, and is so far the only Stand capable of delivering one-hit kills without the use of an ability.

* AscendedExtra: While it did serve a pretty pivotal role [[spoiler: regarding Polnareff's fate in Part 5]], for the most part it was a side character. In ''Eyes of Heaven'', it gets a lot more aren't time as Mr. President is used to contain the ever expanding party of characters in the story mode.

** LackOfEmpathy: Diavolo is also different from all his contemporaries in that he was completely ruthless. While the other antagonists all loved somebody other than themselves[[note]]Dio to Pucci and vice versa, Kira his many girlfriends (in a way), Kars to the other Pillar Men, and Funny Valentine to his wife and father[[/note]], Diavolo held no affection for anyone. [[spoiler:Especially his own daughter.]]

* ChickMagnet: Early on in Vento Aureo, he's shown in a café with a bunch of girls positively swarming over him.

* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Josuke and Giorno both became the people they are today after a chance meeting with two unnamed men, but the way they turned out could not be any more different. Josuke is an easygoing but incredibly passionate person whose only goal is to spend his days with his friends and family in the hometown he loves so much. Giorno is an extremely cool-headed person with a ruthless and driven personality whose goal is to impose his own RobinHood type of ideology upon the biggest mob in Italy. This even extends to their role in the story, with Josuke often standing front and center alongside his allies, and Giorno preferring to provide assistance and advice unless specifically provoked. Giorno actually takes after his father Dio more than he takes after the Joestar lineage.
* CompositeCharacter: He has aspects of both Jonathan and Dio in his personality, tempered by his own cool-headedness. His stand also seems to combine The Ripple (infusing living things with life-energy), The World (said living things are mentally stuck in time), vampirism (manipulating and combining organic matter), and the Pillar Men (transforming objects and creatures) without attacking by detaching limbs, which isn't in itself painful.

* OneOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers: Gold Experience has mediocre strength, which contradicts the high power typical of a [=JoJo's=] Stand, forcing Giorno to be more clever in his Stand's usage.

* FakingTheDead: Near the end of the fight with Giorno. [[DangerouslyGenreSavvy Although like his father, Giorno's not fooled,]] [[CrazyPrepared and was even prepared for it beforehand.]]

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: In order: Prosciutto stalked through the outside and inside of the train to make sure they had their targets, searched ''every'' room on the train for them, activated his Stand and kept it running, snuck an attack on Mista by pretending to be a defenseless old man, '''shot Mista several times in the head''', and then immediately started heading for the first car and Mista's origin.
** WrongGenreSavvy: But, then again, he also forgot to check if Mista was dead.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: The whole reason [[spoiler:White Album Gently Weeps]] exists.

* DangerouslyGenreSavvy: Just like his father, this is all over the place for Giorno, with the most noticeable case of this probably being the final part of his battle against Cioccolata. The Brando family must have a knack for making ''darn sure'' that their opponents are truly and utterly dead...

* MeaningfulName: Moody Blues might refer to his near-constant grumpy temperament.
