* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: {{Downplayed|trope}}; although most of the male members are blade-wielding Assault or Tank heroes, and many of the female members are ranged-oriented Ranger, Mage, or Healer heroes, there are exceptions: Rufus is a Ranger hero and attacks from afar, while Veigas is a Mage hero who attacks at range. At the other end of the spectrum, Elesis is an Assault hero who specialises in close-range attacks, Lime, despite being a Healer, can also DropTheHammer on enemies while simultaneously healing allies, and Edel is an Assault hero who occasionally uses mid-range attacks.

* DropTheHammer: Her weapon of choice is a large hammer. She uses it to hurl holy magic at enemies from distance and smash enemies with it when engaged by melee enemies and in her Holy Smash attack. She also literally drops a giant magical hammer on enemies in her Special Skill, Liberation.

* {{Royals Who Actually Do Something}}: Mari is a princess from the Royal Family of Kounat and she is someone you do not want to mess with.

Ai is the ArtificialIntelligence created by the Creator Goddesses to oversee the Throne of the Goddess, a defense system built by the Creator Goddesses to repel a future demon invasion on Aernas. She is loyal only to the manager of the system, who is any member of the Kounat Royal Family. At some point before the Great Explosion of Kounat, Ai received an OminousMessageFromTheFuture from a then-unknown source that showed her the end of the Kingdom of Kounat and her eventual fate after over a millennium of dormancy—to accompany her new manager and companions. When Baldinar seized control of the kingdom, Ai [[FlingALightIntoTheFuture sent Mari into the future]] and took TheSlowPath, waiting for the girl to eventually find her thousands of years later.

* ArtificialHuman: Ai initially appeared as a SuperDeformed {{Fairy|Companion}}-sized hologram, but Mari gave her a humanoid construct that she can transfer herself into, making her a RobotGirl.
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: Ai's Character Story shows her being able to switch between her fairy hologram and human form at will. She is usually seen in the latter as she feels that organic beings are able to converse better with her in her human form.

* BadassCrew: This is ''the'' team that has saved Aernas countless times in their OriginStory from everything that the forces of evil sent to destroy the world, and it shows—all characters who were once part of the Chase in the original game, permanent or temporary regardless, are SR Rank heroes at their ''base level'', the highest hero rarity in the game, and thus putting them on a starting level that outclasses virtually every other character in ''Dimensional Chaser''.

* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: The practice of soul healing—using one's own life force to heal another—comes with the risk of Cindy permanently damaging her own soul if she pushes herself beyond her absolute limits, and done incorrectly, [[EpicFail it will also further damage the individual who is supposed to be healed.]] The risks associated with the practice are dangerous enough for it to be classified as forbidden magic in the Violet Mage Academy, and ''everyone'' who knows exactly what Cindy is trying to learn has attempted to dissuade her from studying and practising it.

* PeekABangs: His one eye is always covered by his hair.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: She is barefooted in her Magic Engineer form, though she is levitating anyway.

* BladeOnAStick: He uses a giant lance to attack enemies and weaken their magical defense.

* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: Using one's own life force to heal another—the core of Cindy's healing skills—comes with the risk of Cindy permanently damaging her own soul if she pushes herself beyond her absolute limits. The practice is dangerous enough that, even though it is not explicitly considered to be forbidden magic, ''everyone'' who knows what she is doing has attempted to dissuade her from studying and practising it.

* LikeBrotherAndSister: Cindy denies having romantic feelings for Kyle and states he's like a brother to her, an ''idiot'' one. [[spoiler: It turns out that technically, they are indeed siblings since they are both "born" from Baldinar.]]

* PlayingWithFire: She is specialized in fire spells.

* AnAxeToGrind: His weapon is a giant axe which is ironic for a nature guardian to wield such weapon used for chopping down trees.

* DarkSkinnedBlond: Has a noticeably darker skin tone than the other human characters, with contrasting platinum blond hair.

* HotWitch: In her Majesty Magi outfit, Arme looks the part, wearing a fancy RobeAndWizardHat with embroidered leggings that ''really'' [[ShesGotLegs draw attention to her legs]], while she side-saddles her staff like a FlyingBroomstick.

* ShesGotLegs: A gender-flipped example, with many of his outfit poses showing off his thin, slender legs.

* BagOfSpilling: On top of the examples that apply to the Grand Chase as a whole, this trope applies specifically to Arme in one more way: she is introduced in the original game has being able to harness the powers of black and white magic at a young age, while her job advancements also give her mastery over the elements (ice, fire, and wind). ''Dimensional Chaser'' seems to {{retcon}} this backstory in favor of Arme being able to master the powers of ''elemental spirits'' when she was young, completely omitting any mention of her being able to use black and white magic, as well as changing the elements that Arme is able to control (fire, wind, sand, and water).

* GrumpyBear: Rarely smiles, although not to the same extent as Elscud, and tends to be annoyed by the issues of everyone else around him. However, those who know his HiddenDepths, such as Elesis, appreciate his assistance whenever he is around to give it, and although he has built a reputation for himself as being one of the most capable bounty hunters in the Underworld, he will occasionally put aside his desire for money to achieve a greater purpose...but not without a lot of grumbling.
