* BalefulPolymorph: The shield of wonder ''started'' turning him into a demon. Ears managed to stop it, but not reverse it. [[spoiler: Damage to the Axe of Prissan has caused the change to pick up where the Shield of Wonder left off.]]

Deconstructed in that leads him to make a fatally stupid mistake, resulting in him being tortured into catatonia.

* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When one of his epic fumbles accidentally injures a little human girl. His attempt to make ammends, by returning the girl's toy, ends up going horribly, horribly wrong.

* DeathByAThousandCuts: Upon catching up with the GAP, kore starts getting subjected to this from multiple parties, all of whom find him to be a dangerous threat that outstrips any pre-existing animosity they hold towards each other. Firstly the GAP circumvent his nigh-unbreachable defences by abusing the Axe of Prissan's unique properties with attacking Paladins to fuse a rope into his throat, putting him down for several minutes and giving him a permanent speech impediment afterwards, then he runs into [[spoiler: Forgarth, fresh off adventuring in the Maze of Many with several high-level items. Though he wins the fight, his armour and weapons are damaged in the exchange, including his helmet getting pounded off his face and severely dented. Afterwards, he next runs into Kin, similarly fresh out the maze with high-level wizardly items, who abuses the Dungeon Room's rules to drop him down a massive pit after he breaks one of his signature axes on her indestructible tail. He's forced to discard his massive shield and duel crossbows from the fall, both of which were presumably damaged beyond repair, when meeting up with the GAP a second time, who similarly utilise a controllable Golem in the dungeon room to [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beat the ever-loving tar out of him]], badly damaging his remaining armour, breaking his remaining Axe and ripping his head in two. Kore is forced to reluctantly retreat from the encounter by distracting the GAP with Chief's spirit, but he's forced to discard his badly battered armour from the waist up on his next appearance, and is left with only his innate paladin abilities to work with afterwards]]. Despite all of that, he's still a dangerous opponent, but its clear the repeated battling is wearing down at his effectiveness.

** Possibly now UpToEleven as he's [[ItMakesSenseInContext absorbed an Angel's Horn]], as he's been shown to react similarly to Complains' half-demon status as the Angel in question.

* BreakTheCutie: What he does to his Yuan-Ti slave Kin, [[UpToEleven to a horrific level]].

* MinMaxing: Like all the other incarnations of Minmax; in his case, he traded away his ability to use MindControl powers in exchange for a higher intelligence. When they infiltrate the city to rescue Fumbles, Thaco meets up with Dellyn Goblinslayer again, the man who captured and repeatedly tortured him, cutting off his ear before he managed to escape. In their climactic duel Thaco defeats Dellyn and cuts off his ear as even payment. Dellyn taunts Thaco, claiming that he's NotSoDifferent and triumphantly proclaims that by killing him Thaco will just make him a legend, feared archenemy of the great Thaco. Thaco responds by leaving him alive, proclaiming Dellyn to be just "[[UnPerson some human]] that he fought in the early levels of his adventuring career", then chucks his ear in the sewer and walks off.
