A demon that resides deep in a forest outside Lankarks, he's renowned for his skill as a blacksmith. The heroes seek him out when they need to secure a weapon that's suitable for Dai.

* RuggedScar: The massive, X-shaped facial scar Myst-Vearn gave him is a much better indicator of his rough, tough personality and his centuries of experience than any other part of his appearance.
* ScarsAreForever: He let Myst-Vearn scar him as punishment for insulting Vearn when he left his service decades before the start of the story. The scar's still there when the heroes meet him, and shows no obvious signs of going away.

* CantCatchUp: Loka felt inadequate as a swordsman after Leyla joined and he noticed she and Avan were much stronger warriors than him. The two noticed and sought to learn support spells they could cast on Loka to help him catch up.
* ClothesMakeTheSuperman: The color of Leyla's hair and eyes turn red when she's wearing her thief costume. Her entire skillset changes as well, and she doesn't even really know why it happens.

Meanwhile, Maam has capacity for some healing spells, which Leila, who fought alongside Loka as a cleric, could wield. The weapon Maam wields when she joins Dai and Popp was given to her by Leila, who wielded it when she joined Avan alongside Loka.

* YouCantGoHomeAgain: Leyla asked her father to banish her from their village so she could support Loka and Avan after failing her cleric duties. Her father just tells her to not return until their quest is done.
