* OperationJealousy: Thanks to Tia's manipulations and getting Laura's size and bust size (long story), she decides to start dating many boys at school in order to make Ace (who was dating Brooke at the time) jealous. It works, until she decides to give Laura back her bust size.

** Ace's longest stint of good luck was his relationship with Brooke, which ended when Brooke dumped him dueto Tia, Mel, and Nina's meddling at separate times. ** Brooke breaks up with him moths later, and it seems to be for real this time.

* LesbianVampire: Not exactly (a bisexual vampire), but she apparently went through a "phase" with Adora Love, who happens to be Chloe's mom. This causes her to be very... ''friendly''... towards Chloe.

* TheDitz: Nina usually appears not very bright, though it may be a result of her innocence.

* GreenEyedMonster: Nina's generally a sweet girl...[[JerkAss until she's not.]] She envied her sister's body and her boyfriend, so she decided to take both.
* HiddenEyes: [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/that_sort_of_tickles In this strip]] which, along with her gaping mouth and protruding fangs, indicate something's wrong with her.

* TheIngenue: Her sister and her friends tend to shelter her, because of her innocence. So most matters regarding the opposite sex and dating tend to go over her head.

** Because of her childlike innocence, she fails to grasp certain things; particularly when it comes to dating. Such as being put off by Kade french kissing her (while in Layla's body), since she had never experienced one before.
** In chapter 7 Doompantied Chloe made note of Nina's innocence and was compelled [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/make_her_like_me to corrupt her.]] But simply being near Nina [[KarmicProtection caused Chloe to become physically ill]] and rush to the bathroom [[VomitDiscretionShot to vomit.]]

* KiddieKid: Nina is introduced as a 14-year-old, but she acts like as if she was about half of that age. She begins to grow out of it later.

** Nina is later on the receiving end when [[spoiler: Layla/Quintessa forgets her name.]]

* ShipTease: Regardless of the preceding entry, Gisele still continues to provide girl-on-girl fanservice between Layla and the aforementioned girls in the way of bonus material with the print versions of the comic.

Maybe got [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/such_a_happy_guy a little too far]] into Vapid Valley Girl mode or "catfight" part mixed badly with his cat side, or something.

* EnemyWithin: Blair's consciousness was [[spoiler: [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/we_have_to_contain_me_before_i forcibly released from the doll]]]] by Nina, who was possessed by [[spoiler: Quintessa]] at the time, and has wound up in Ace's body. Now, not only is Ace stuck with him for the foreseeable future, he's threatened to [[spoiler: [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/i_was_bitten take him over if he falls asleep]]]], to satisfy his perversion.

* LampshadeHanging: He outright tells Layla that Nina liking chocolate just because she was born on Easter is rather stupid. Turns out he's right, as [[spoiler: Blair conditioned her that way in an effort to prevent Queen Quintessa's reincarnation.]]

* PastLifeMemories: The dialog in [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/someone_from_a_dream this scene]] seems to suggest Ace may have had a past with [[spoiler: Queen Quintessa]]. Though it's ended abruptly by Brooke slapping him, [[NotWhatItLooksLike under the assumption]] Ace was making a pass at her.
** The next time [[spoiler: Lamia]] speaks to him, is in his dreams, where he sees [[spoiler: [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/need_your_love_to_survive Brooke is with her.]] When he asks what she's doing there, Lamia tells tells him Brooke belongs to her, just as Ace does]]. Implying a deeper connection between them.

* ShipTease: With both Nina and Brooke. He and Brooke have been dating on-again/off-again since the conclusion of Vol.1. They broke up sometime just before the start of Vol.4., during which, he begins dating [[spoiler: Nina]].

* TookALevelInKindness: At first he wants nothing to do with Nina and is annoyed with her antics and constant reaching. However, after she tries to protect him from the Tiresias Orb he becomes noticeably kinder towards her, finally acknowledging her as a friend.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Nina. She's easily been the biggest source of frustration in his life since they met. However, the fact he tries to put up with her foolishness shows that deep down, he really does care about her and wants to help her.
* UnluckyEverydude: He was a victim of low self-esteem, short height and terrible luck with girls, but his life has never been the same since the Delacroix sisters moved into his life. Getting involved in their antics, every day has become an ordeal for him.

* FunSize: Recently got shrunk down to Blair's height thanks to Tia.

* HenpeckedHusband: Layla's. He clearly ''[[SlapSlapKiss likes]]'' it when the girl [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/shanghaied shows]] some [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/my_layla claws]].

* BreakUpMakeUpScenario: Breaks up with Brooke due to Tia and Melissa's manipulations and his own believing that Brooke still likes girls. They decide they should see other people, until eventually they reconcile. However she breaks up with him for real once Tia removes the effects of the Tiresias Orb on him, reverting him to his shorter and plain appearance.

** Brooke breaks up with him for real once the aforementioned event happens.

* TookALevelInJerkass: Started out sweet, but her newfound feelings for Ace, along with all the attention she was getting from the other boys at school, made her reluctant to return Laura's height and bust size to her. But she relented after Laura [[PuppyDogEyes guilt tripped her.]]

* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: Back when the comic was in color, [[https://pixietrixcomix.com/eerie-cuties/2009-07-22 he had a slimmer build and softer facial features]]. But once it changed to black-and-white (and stopped being a girl), he looks the same as the more muscular grown-up look he had before Tia reverted it, only shorter.

* ACupAngst: For awhile, she was convinced that she needed boobs like her sister's for guys to be interested in her, but seems to have finally gotten over it.

* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Nina's mentality used to be childlike, coupled with an incredibly short attention span. Her maturity and understanding improves later, to where she's only somewhat ditzy.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: Nina's DisproportionateRetribution against Layla had it's roots in Nina being too immature to truly understand how hurtful her actions were.
* ItsAllAboutMe: The dark side of Nina's childlike innocence is an equally childlike lack of empathy.

* KidsAreCruel: The downside of Nina's innocence is [[InnocentlyInsensitive her lack of empathy]], because she doesn't consider how her her actions might effect others.

* SweetTooth: Nina is noted for being unusual among vampires, due to her preference for chocolate, rather than of blood. So much, that [[HeroicBSOD her brain froze]] when Laura said she ''didn't'' like it.

* AttractiveBentGender: Notorious girls-lover Kade tried to seduce Ace in female form, and resident pervert Blair harassed him like any other attractive girl he met.

* EmbarrassingNickname: To the point of bordering on DudeWheresMyRespect territory, since Ace gets it from both of the Delacroix sisters, who refuse to refer to him by his name. ** He's also shown himself to be sensible enough to know when it's best to [[TacticalWithdrawal beat a hasty retreat.]] Such as the time he ducked out on a brewing argument [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/can_i_say_something_here between Brooke and Melissa.]]
* PairTheSmartOnes: It's one of the reason that the het part fandom ships Ace with [[spoiler: Brooke]], as both are mature for their age. And they're the closest the series has ever had to a normal, stable couple.
