Could someone explain to me how the Stable Time Loop worked at the end of the episode?
I get the part about the Ride Watch being established by Sougo when he hands it over to Emu; what bugs me is that he effectively stopped Another Ex-Aid from ever prompting the entire trip to begin with.
So basically:
1) Another Ex-Aid is created in 2016 and continues wreaking havoc until 2018
2) Another Ex-Aid causes Emu (who somehow still retained his powers for two whole years coexisting with his doppleganger) to disappear on a futile attempt to dissuade the former
3) Zi-O catches wind of AEA and does his thing, preventing the last two years from happening as they did
4) Because his son was cured, AEA never went on a rampage.
5) Zi-O is never alerted and the Time Jackers are free to screw with 2016; he also never has a reason to give a blank Ride Watch to Ex-Aid.
...what am I missing? I think the writers forgot to address this collapsing blackhole of a paradox.
