How detailed do we want our recap pages to be? I spent several hours working on creating more detailed recaps that I've noticed on other pages, and today I found all of them wiped away to be redundant with the opener teaser on the collective page. It feels like a waste not to give some extra detail when on the page specifically for the episode.

Why is the recap out of order? This appears to be using the American broadcast order, but that's ridiculous. The American broadcast order is a mess. For one thing, it famously butchered the rhythm of the first season during its Disney XD release, and proper, production-accurate order was restored for reruns. So that's an argument for using the creator-preferred, production order.

And on top of that, we can't just act like episodes like Friendship Hates Magic are upcoming. They're not. They've been released, just accidentally not in the U.S. because Disney can't quite get their act together.

But it's an American produced show. And besides that, the showrunners say that the order, at least for season 2, is what's intended. And tv release schedules don't have to follow a wide release format. It's just like with movies where some things can be released earlier than others, but with its home base being North America, why not have our ordering focused around there?

Should we make recap pages for the promo shorts too? They are already listed, and there are are quite a few tropes exclusive to them, but they are very short (below one minute).

Most of them are small gags, already listed in CMOF pages, so my first instinct is that it's redundant.

At best if you can group it in a single page it might not be bad. But these aren't at the end of the day really canon...or at least it's not presented as such. They are promos and advertising, and it creates a gray area.
