  • This is how you tell tourists in Western Hemisphere vacation destinations that are British holdings. Americans have the wheel on the right side of the car, with wipers on the right of the column, blinkers on the left. British cars are the other way around. If you're ever in (for instance) Grand Cayman, on a sunny day, and see a car driving down the street with its wipers on, get out of its way.

since it's wrong. Last I checked, US cars have the steering wheel on the left and British cars on the right. In addition, I've had a car with the wiper controls on the left of the wheel and another with them on the right.
