This happened to my niece just recently, my family had just gotten a new puppy(border collie), and she had it on the playground and was apparently trying to get it to go down a slide, it went down... she did not let go... she ended up getting dragged through cedar chips as the dog ran towards me yelping from the fear of going down a slide, both were unharmed but my niece was crying.

Saying a dog pulling on a leash is "INCREDIBLY" dangerous is probably exaggerating. Frustrating maybe, but "INCREDIBLY dangerous" is pushing it.

Actually, it is pretty dangerous. My dog broke my collarbone that way when I was younger (and if you've never felt serious pain, a broken collarbone is not at all a pleasant thing).
