There are many examples here that have bugger all to do with clipboards and more like the "act like you belong there and you won't be bothered" of Bavarian Fire Drill.

I'm sure it's a subtrope, but I did find a sort of example in Joe vs. Elan School, where students named as "expeditors" carry around clipboards they need to write names on, something that's not a Bavarian Fire Drill example. I'm not really sure about this, but this is just an example for now.
