So, the voting has been going on for a while now. Should we go ahead and rename this to Supercilious Snacking?
Is it reasonable to add a piece from a Shadowrun campaign I just ran? It's literature of sorts but not exactly written down.
I had planned to introduce a CEO by having him walk in on the Motive Rant (from the villain, one of his employees) and just stand in the doorway until noticed... eating popcorn. It was meant to deflate the villain, and make the CEO seem suave, sophisticated, unflappable, and slightly humorous.
Only the Rant turned from unjustified anger to the heart-rending misery of a sympathetic Well-Intentioned Extremist. And so the CEO turned from a positive character into a man who ate popcorn while enjoying the misery of others. Completely turned the character around.
Only the curious have, if they live, a tale worth telling at all.
