Not sure if this is the place I should be asking but do we have a trope for "Animal Aliens"? I'm talking about nonhumanoid, nonsentient animal species not from Earth.

Non-SAPIENT! "Non-sentient" means incapable of feeling emotion! People confuse "sentient" and "sapient" all the time, and it freaking pisses me off!

This trope always makes me think if there is a planet with living beings that look like us but have animal intelligence.
Depending on the continuity, Sonic the Hedgehog may or may not be this.
