Reason: Ray and Doyle only had one sexual encounter, in "The Frogmouth" (Love and Rockets Vol. 2 #4). Doyle went down on Ray when they were both drunk. Ray hasn't engaged in any other intimate activities with men; nor does he give any indication he's attracted to men, so that would appear to be a one-off thing. Doyle, on the other hand, mentions having been friends and sexual partners with Sid, so he would fit the trope.
