As far as defering to orders...Hera\'s orders came from her as owner of the ship he was living in. The only orders Ezra got from Kanan are regarding Jedi training. And exactly when did Rex order \'\'anything\'\' to him? TheLeader\'s job is acting as the head of the team and Ezra has been acting as the head of the team since Kanan\'s capture in every mission they took. He was the initiator, organiser and executor of the majority of the stuff they\'ve done. Training, and doing his part of the house work has nothing to do with the undisputable position he has taken as field commander of the crew.
