I remember it being set up as another theory, that is implied to have a very strong following in the real world, but not as the definite answer to the solution.
Refering to the manga as \\\"proof\\\" seems doubtful to me at best, since in giving a definite answer to the mystery, it outright contradicts one of the main points that the Sound Novel was trying to make. As an adaption, how much it reflects Ryukishi\\\'s acutual intentions is questionable, too.
Is there any word of god on this that confirms that what the manga shows is correct? Otherwise I suggest we move that to YMMV or reword it as another theory.
