This article is very disjointed. First, Vlad was born, then he impaled the nobility (when did he succeed to the throne?), then he was held captive (how? why? by whom?), then he had a third reign (what about the first two?), etc. Obviously there is a whole lot missing.

First, Vlad was born, then he impaled the nobility (when did he succeed to the throne?), then he was held captive (how? why? by whom?), then he had a third reign (what about the first two?), etc. Obviously there is a whole lot missing. There are also some \\\"word salad\\\" passages (\\\"All impaling aside, who\\\'s patronymic name was, in fact Dracula ...\\\", \\\"Which was when you shove a staff, hook, spear, stake, ect. and shoving it through a person\\\'s body ...\\\").

This is incorrect. Bram Stoker did not, in fact, base the character of {{Dracula}} on Vlad Dracula. The novel does not reference history much and the possibility that the count is \\\"that\\\" Dracula is only thrown in as a vague speculation (in a letter by Jonathan Harker, if I remember correctly). But Stoker\\\'s Dracula is in no way inspired by, much less based on the life the historical Vlad Dracula.
