Irma Lair. Who in the blue hell thought it was a good idea to make her gay? Okay: I get that she\'s a bit perky and happy, but this doesn\'t make her gay. Neither does a few winks or suggestive comments. It pissed me off to no end to hear that she was \'confirmed\' to be gay even though there was no reason for her to be. Even if it was intentional, it makes no damn sense and feels like an absolute Ass Pull. Someone please tell Weisman that he goofed up on this. And didn\'t he create Miranda or something? Why couldn\'t she have been gay? Irma was my favorite character from the show and to hear after that she was gay made me so upset. She isn\'t gay in the comics, so why make her gay in the show?? What does that accomplish?

I am kind of disappointed that Irma was the character chosen to have her sexuality changed. I read the comics as a child, and while it is a minute detail that shouldn\\\'t bother me; for some reason I can\\\'t get it out of my mind. It kind of bothers me and I don\\\'t know what to do about it. In the comics, Irma was a boy chaser. In the show, she\\\'s still a boy chaser, but apparently not. Is there some explanation for any of this?
