This appears to be misuse of the trope as \\\"person namechecks TV tropes\\\", when it\\\'s more \\\"famous people you don\\\'t expect to be a geek, is a geek\\\" and that it also says it\\\'s unecesarry to include examples which are from invariable sources of geekdom like sci-fi and fantasy writers (or people that started this channel as an extension of a [=WoW=] guild that eventually became their livelihood through playing other games)
