I believe ShayGuy was looking for a story that had that as a plot point, but not the main focus of the story. Like my example only revealed Hermione was a half-blood after Harry discovers Death Eaters are using \'dead\' vaults in Gringotts and asks muggleborns to take a blood test to see if any squib lines can claim the dormant vaults in question. It\'s only revealed after the blood test that Hermione\'s not really her father\'s daughter in blood and a chapter or two is focused on her reaction to it.
