Hello! Does it bother anyone else that the \\\"Everything I learned about same-gendered sex...\\\" is written by people who must have very little exposure to professional manga, film, or pornography about same-sex coupling and are just going by branded stereotypes?
Either that or I assume the majority of points must come from bad fanfic. This is the only way I can explain my astonished lack of knowledge of what I read in this subsection[[hottip:Note:I\\\'ve spent my last 5 (now 6) years in and out of hospitals and hence reading \\\'\\\'\\\'\\\'\\\'exhaustive\\\'\\\'\\\'\\\'\\\' amounts of yaoi (+ bara (apparently)) and seinen manga, and watching enough straight and gay romantic comedies and soft porn to drown an ocean and I was pretty shocked at the venomous {{Double Standard}}s I was reading about. I have no idea where the hell some of this stuff came from! Is fanfic \\\'\\\'really\\\'\\\' this unrealistic? Seriously??? I am so lost and confused. :( If some kind person could send me a PM to explain this I would be really grateful.]]
