That post is to be ignored. The creator of a work has no more say on the page than anyone else. While Ranger will be able to provide the best evidence for a trope occurring, the occurrence is to be determined based on that evidence, not because Ranger said so. Also, WordOfGod doesn\'t count for CharacterAlignment as per that page--the alignments have to be referenced in the work itself in order to be listed as tropes.
