The impression I got from the dialogue wasn\\\'t that they aren\\\'t part of what we think of as the Resistance or that there\\\'s a separate group, but that there IS no Resistance. As in, the Freelancers are the actual bad guys, while the so-called \\\"Resistance\\\" is actually just normal UNSC folks.
