But \\\"human\\\" seems to be retained as the name for the dominant sentient species native to Earth. And as pointed out, humans with ancestry on Mars are often referred to as \\\"Martians\\\". It is also not revealed whether Mars is under the juristiction of the Earthican government, though in IntoTheWildGreenYonder Nixon seems to have some control over it.
