From the main page:

  • In Futurama, we're "Earthicans." There are also Decapodians (Decapod 10), Amphibiosans (Amphibios 9), Neptunians, Omicronians (Omicron Persei 8), Osirians (Osiris 4), Martians, Amazonians (Amazonia) and Cygnoids (Cygnos 5). The Nibblonians are a notable exception, originating on the Planet Eternium.

From what I can tell, "Earthican" is the political designation, and denotes any citizen of the unified Earth-country, which is interestingly not named although maybe it's just "Earth". So in theory, members of alien species can be "Earthicans"; this is never directly addressed, although after the events of "A Taste of Freedom", Zoidberg would probably enthusiastically refer to himself as such.

But "human" seems to be retained as the name for the dominant sentient species native to Earth. And as pointed out, humans with ancestry on Mars are often referred to as "Martians". It is also not revealed whether Mars is under the juristiction of the Earthican government, though in Into The Wild Green Yonder Nixon seems to have some control over it.

I'm not sure how to change the article to reflect this though.
