[[spoiler:The short of it is that: Daikichi showed zero sexual interest until the last page of Ch56 which pretty much signals to me that he\'s accepting Rin\'s feelings not because he reciprocates them but because doing anything else would have resulted in Rin\'s continued suffering which he obviously doesn\'t want.

To explain further: Rin\'s feelings might have changed, but the Daikichi I saw on Ch.56 is pretty much the same Daikichi who overhauled his entire life to take care of a 6-year-old girl who, it later turns out, he wasn\'t even really related to. There\'s always the fact that things are lost in translation and there are nuances I\'ll be blind to, getting the information secondhand, but didn\'t Daikichi pretty much admit he\'s going with the flow because it\'s what Rin wants as opposed to any mirroring desire on his part? [[spoiler:So the fact that he\\\'s 24 years older, that he raised her as a daughter, and most importantly, that he \\\'\\\'considers\\\'\\\' her his daughter (which, personally, gives more squick to incestual relationships rather than the blood ties) is pretty much irrelevant. He loved her like a daughter before, he loves her as a daughter now. There really was no shift in regards to his feelings for her and his treatment looks pretty much the same as well.]]

[[spoiler:I initially thought Rin\\\'s feelings were some late blooming \\\"crush on this older guy who likes me,\\\" that many young girls go through before growing out of when puberty hits and they start actually \\\'\\\'liking\\\'\\\' somebody in that sense, but it was hammered to the point that the revelation it\\\'s a lasting emotion didn\\\'t really surprise much. Despite the change in her core feelings though, their relationship looked pretty much the same during the entire series. Living together while loving each other, it just so happens that Rin\\\'s are a tad more complicated now and she\\\'s more open in expressing things like wanting children and whatnot.]]
