I am \'\'seriously\'\' questioning if this is really giving an accurate description of those genres or just the results of SmallReferencePools: Like ShayGuy ask, did \'\'TenchiMuyo\'\' really codify the harem genre or is it just thought of that way because it was the first harem. The same for goes for AhMyGoddess with respect to MagicalGirlfriend: MagicalGirlfriend \'\'the trope\'\' at least is OlderThanFeudalism.

I am \\\'\\\'seriously\\\'\\\' questioning if this is really giving an accurate description of those genres or just the results of SmallReferencePools: Like @/ShayGuy asked, did \\\'\\\'TenchiMuyo\\\'\\\' really create, codify, or even popularize the harem genre or is it just thought of that way because it was the first harem anime popular in English-speaking circles? The same for goes for AhMyGoddess with respect to MagicalGirlfriend: MagicalGirlfriend \\\'\\\'the trope\\\'\\\' at least is OlderThanFeudalism.

On a different note, how the hell does having a perverted leads who \\\'\\\'wants\\\'\\\' a harem make something a parody of the harem genre? TheLeisureSuitLarry is a pretty old trope as well.
