In the case of an electron you are essentially \\\"poking\\\" it, causing it\\\'s waveform to collapse which fundamentally changes the outcome of the experiment, to conclude the universe in any way changes to suddenly exists simply because it is observed is more a form of solipsitic thinking

In the case of an electron you are essentially \\\"poking\\\" it, causing it\\\'s waveform to collapse which fundamentally changes the outcome of the experiment, it\\\'s not nearly as subtle as \\\"looking in a box\\\" and having the contents of the box pop into existance. \\\"Extrapolating from the mind boggling experiments\\\" anything more than that is adding 2 + 2 to come up with 10 (And not in base 4 I might add)
