While I can\'t help with info on theatrical releases (if any), this troper remembers \'\'[=HtS=]\'\' being shown in the UK on ITV and being heavily promoted in \'\'TV Times\'\' (the Independent TV channel\'s listings magazine), despite its decidedly non-film-of-the-week status. And yes, this troper remembers watching it, aged 8 or 9, and feeling his critical faculties being shaken awake for the first time - getting flickers of awareness that bits of what he was watching, while neither \'\'boring\'\' nor \'\'too-nasty\'\' (his original, juvenile criteria for TV not to watch), were somehow, indefinably \'\'wrong\'\'.
