My wording was pretty poor there and choice of trope was bad, so let me clarify: I didn\'t mean that the revelation of Mata Nui being a giant robot came out of blue. However, Mata Nui being a giant robot with the Matorans working as it\'s maintanence workers really doesn\'t make any sense. Because doesn\'t working as a maintanence worker kind of requires you to, well, know that you are one to begin with? Since Mata Nui isn\'t techinically a god anymore, it makes no sense for it\'s function to be somehow depentant on Matorans\' hard-work(for example how does being an archivist exactly help the robot\'s vital functions?), unless they suddenly made all new professions we\'ve never heard before(which would be a real RetCon) or you\'re now aiming at the most ridiculously softest of the soft scifi.
