!The Covenant of Discord
The pantheon name for the assorted demon cults that plague the world. Technically, the demons are not a united front, and are just as likely to fight among themselves as they are against the gods, but the presence of two deity-level demons among their ranks makes them a serious threat to mortals and deities alike. Opposition to the Covenant of Discord is the unifying factor that keeps the Divine Light and the Fallen Lovers from actively trying to destroy each other.
!!The Wanton Beast Who Consumes and Is Consumed
When the damage from the Cataclysm was still raw and the stray divine energies were still being sorted out, The Goddess Mother attempted to take the darkest of the energies into herself and purify them. The plan, of course, backfired, and what clawed its way out of her womb was a near-mindless demonic beast fueled by pure evil. The Beast, as she is known, is concerned with only three actions: killing, eating, and breeding. She is technically a goddess of destruction, madness, and anarchy, but no (sane) mortal worships her, even to ward her off.
Tropes associated with The Beast:
* Abusive Demonic Mother: The Beast breeds instinctively, but that\'s where her instincts end. She\'s barely cognizant of the fact that the demonic spawn that constantly swarm around her, fighting to get a taste of her milk, came out of her own body, and is prone to slaying and eating any that linger in her field of view for too long. This is probably the only reason her brood hasn\'t overwhelmed the world already.
* Ax Crazy / The Berserker
* Evil Is Deathly Cold: Winter has become associated with the Covenant of Discord for many mortals. In the case of The Beast, her creation story apparently took place in winter...
* Explosive Breeder
* Extreme Omnivore
* No Name Given: Unlike the other deities, The Beast never had a name to begin with.
* Smash Mook: The Beast\'s entire combat strategy: Hit things. \'\'Really hard\'\'. And when they stop moving, shove them into your mouth.
!!The Creeping Rot
When The Beast burst from The Goddess Mother\'s womb, the afterbirth sloughed off, carrying some of the demonic taint with it, and seeped into the earth. Within the bowels of the world, the mess festered and grew, absorbing poisonous gasses into its mass, before it dissolved and reformed into a pile of ooze. The ooze then became sentient. Unlike The Beast, The Creeping Rot is actually capable of complex thought and planning, and is more insidious in its efforts to destroy the world of mortals. It is technically a deity of disease, poison, and corruption, but no (sane) mortal would ever worship it, even to ward it off.
Tropes associated with The Creeping Rot:
* Eldritch Abomination
* Evil Is Deathly Cold: ...whereas for The Creeping Rot, there is the association with barren fields, famine, and high sickness rates (among other forms of suffering).
* No Name Given: Like The Beast, The Creeping Rot never had a real name, and has never bothered to give itself one.
* Slithering Wasteland
!Proxies
For the most part, the gods tend not to interact directly with mortals, whether because they are too busy, don\'t feel that it\'s appropriate, or wish to maintain their mystique. The gods -- or, at least, a specific subset of them -- also tend not to interact directly with each other. Thus, the gods create (or appoint) proxies -- beings (whether formerly mortal or not) that are infused with a portion of the deity\'s divine powers and sent out to do the deity\'s will. All of the gods have at least one servant like this, but it\'s not always a specific person with the same level of power. The Divine Light relies on their devas -- celestial beings that can be killed but have a Respawn Point -- to carry out most of their wishes. The Absolute Scale picks out one of his followers by lottery to serve as his representative for a fixed interval, and the Dragon Gods do the same via a tournament of strength and wits. The Guardian of Eternity has the Rabbits, fragments of his power that manifest as bunny-eared girls with identical appearances but wildly differing personalities, and The Steel Falcon has the Iron Maidens, mortal women who are given Instant Armor which greatly enhances their fighting abilities. The other gods employ individual proxies:
!!Zaserharra
Proxy for the Divine Light. As mentioned, the Divine Light uses the devas as their handmaidens in the mortal world, but Zaserharra is a special case. \'\'His\'\' duty is specifically to act as a messanger to the other gods. The regular status meetings that The Architect holds, which Zaserharra and The Doll Princess both attend, are the only time when the Divine Light and the Fallen Lovers actually communicate with each other.
Tropes associated with Zaserharra:
* Gender Bender: Turns out it\'s not the best idea to barge into a lab that The Architect is conducting a live experiment in...
* The One Guy: The lone male in the otherwise female deva race.
* The Only Way They Will Learn: The Divine Light \'\'could\'\' have restored Zaserharra\'s original gender. They chose not to, to teach him the virtue of prudence.

!![The Keeper of the Chronicle\'s proxy-daughter]
Tropes associated with [The Keeper of the Chronicle\'s proxy-daughter]:
* Horny Devil
* Throw The Book At Them: Her general response to her mother\'s adult childishness and her grandmother\'s slacker attitude. It\'s cathartic.
* The Unfavorite: The Lord of Seduction doesn\'t publicly acknowledge [her] as his daughter (although it\'s not precisely a secret) and rarely interacts with her. However, given what happened to his \'\'other\'\' daughter, maybe it\'s for the best.
!!Nicholas Grimm
!![[spoiler:Kaenia Veldarine]], The Doll Princess
Tropes associated with The Doll Princess:
* Did Not Eat The Mousse: Whereas the Fallen Lovers and The Steel Falcon are undoubtedly evil, The Doll Princess\' association with them is purely because she was dragged down with her parents when they fell. The rest of the pantheon feels sorry for her about that.
* Horny Devil
* Meaningful Proxy Title: Twofold. The first, straight meaning is in her status as an Empty Shell: She is a mere doll, to be played with according to her father and mother\'s whims. The second is a Ret Con tacked on later: Her \
