Besides Bosses being immune, the biggest fault for me is that freeze doesn\'t deal much damage on it\'s own. It just makes fights more controlled and less chaotic, and that can make your life easier but it doesn\'t help clear Abyss floors faster (for example) unless there are extra benefits too. One of the reasons Ayaka freeze is busted is that it allows all the hits of Ayaka\'s burst to connect, so it\'s less that freeze is good but more it\'s taking away one of Ayaka\'s flaws.
