Messing up the timing of important events in your story is simply not a mistake professional writers and their editing team would make. And considering the original story is by KeyVisualArts (Air, Kanon, Clannad, Plantarians etc), this is pretty much unthinkable. Also note that having seemingly ass pull situations, yet always leaving subtle or cryptic clues that lead to said situation, is well known as one of Key\'s MO.

Lack of GenreSavvy is unimportant, and no where in the AssPull entry does it mention otherwise. If a portion of the fandom lack genre savvy or plain missed the point entirely, they may mistaken the certain events as an ass pull, but it doesn\'t mean it really is.
