If it wasn't, then the current Flash comics wouldn't have done everything they could to sink that version. However, since then everything about the run has been done away with and they've retconned a lot of things into being more akin to the pre-Flashpoint selves. This is off-topic, mind, but its ridiculous to insist Rebirth wasn't envisioned as an attempt to undo poor choices from New 52, Flash among them.
It doesn't say you're supposed to delete controversial stuff. It says that if you post something controversial, it might get deleted to avoid a fight. It ''doesn't'' say this is the ''correct'' procedure, just noting that this is a common reaction to hot-button topics. Read the discussion page on that, a few topics indicate that using this the way you are is considered abusing it.
