For the clarity's sake, the description should include something along the lines 'Remember, it's only a Straw Feminist if her views/actions are portrayed as wrong by the story or she is proven wrong by the characters, who are meant to be in the right. Otherwise she is not this trope, no matter how extreme she is.'

Plus, the desctiption should be more elaborate, like it was ten years ago, or so. Right now it's just plain boring.

I understand that some people stereotype people who are open about their Christianity as bible-thumpers. It's unfair, and I'm sorry that sort of thing has happened to you.

But I also ask you to try to understand what it's like to *not* be a Christian, to feel as though it's not even socially acceptable to say so when the subject has already come up without starting a fight or having your moral character come into question (and that's not even getting into members of religions that are poorly understood and therefore stereotyped in really, really nasty ways), to have Christianity affect what laws are passed or not passed, to have Christian holidays and traditions observed by US culture at large in a way that other religions' are not, and then be told that Christianity is the real victim.

But I also ask you to try to understand that if you are *not* a Christian, and you\'re in a Christian-dominated country, you notice just how much influence Christianity already has in the culture as a whole (laws, basic ideas about morality, holidays, cultural practices), and it feels like you have to hide your own beliefs lest you start a fight. it\'s not fun.
