So, with today's Episode Recap/RWBYV5E12VaultOfTheSpringMaiden, I believe we have two more tropes to add to the YMMV page courtesy of both Raven and Vernal, [[spoiler:RewatchBonus and MagnificentBastard]].
* [[spoiler:MagnificentBastard: Raven Branwen, Qrow's twin sister and Yang's Biological Mother. After becoming the Spring Maiden, she set up a RedHerring by having her second in command, Vernal, pretend to be the Spring Maiden. [[note]]Bonus points for having a name that is used in conjunction with ''spring''[[/note]] She then managed to trick Salem's forces, namely Cinder, into forging an alliance for attacking Haven, when in reality she and Vernal would steal the Relic of Knowledge for themselves and run off in the confusion. Even when Cinder figures out their plan to betray her and kills Vernal to steal the Spring Maiden powers, Raven still holds the upper hand by now having Cinder off guard, having more experience with her powers, and knowing all of Cinder's tricks.]]

** [[spoiler: When Yang and Weiss attempt to flee the Branwen camp, a Lightning bolt strikes the ground and Vernal yells out \"ENOUGH!\", with Vernal holding her arm out and Raven thanking her, giving the impression that Vernal caused the Lightning Bolt. Vernal isn\'t actually shown throwing it though. With the knowledge that Vernal is only a Decoy and has to keep up appearances, and that Raven wasn\'t wearing her Mask when this happened, it makes more sense.]]
** [[spoiler: When Vernal is asked to show her powers to Salem\'s group, she keeps her eyes closed while Raven is wearing her mask. This makes sense considering a Maiden\'s eyes glow when they use their powers, and Raven is the real Spring Maiden.]]
** [[spoiler:Raven specifically told Vernal not to use the Spring Maiden Powers on Weiss, that she wasn\'t worth it. This may not make sense considering Raven is the real Maiden, until you factor in that they need to keep up appearances in front of Cinder, and could cause confusion if Vernal is noticeably not using \"her\" powers.]]

Except in your PM that the sentence
to:
Except in your PM that the sentence \"there\'s no reason to say [Zelda] has a better chance than Paya\" isn\'t TRUE as we actually see how Link and Zelda had an at least friendly relationship over many memories, unlike Mipha\'s one memory which doesn\'t imply Link liked her anymore than he does Zelda. Ocarina of Time had no issues giving Saria and Malon the ImpliedLoveInterest label all while he and Zelda from that same game are acting as the trope\'s main image so this sounds like you are still forcing a square trope into a round peg. Please don\'t make it so we have to cripple Mipha\'s section instead of simply expand on Zelda\'s to be in accordance to your misunderstanding as Zelda if anything has \'\'more\'\' ship tease than Mipha has in the entire game.

From the ILI troge page: \"A variation also happens a lot in video games where the player has more than one possible love interest. One character will often be the \"preferred\" option, with the most work gone into their romantic \"route\", hints nudging the player in their direction early on(such as being the first one the player runs into), or just the easiest to connect with unless the player deliberately chooses to go with another choice. \"

As can be seen in game, as Zelda\'s associated memories are the most important plotline and has a questline further confirm her feelings and add more in universe Shipper on Deck technically she fits this better than Mipha, but obviously Mipha\'s section won\'t look right if we just get rid of it. You are being outvoted here Dragon, why are you being so stubborn about this? Please stop and let the previous compromise stay as it was so this silly argument can end already.

Edit: Actually you know what? You gave us the solution here. If we can\'t be fair and give both main girls \"Implied Love Interest\" the best they can have is Ship Tease, as we shouldn\'t be forcing ship preferences in the character section. I hope this can make everyone here happy.
