openEpisode of Lamb Chop's Play-Along? Live Action TV
I remember, when I was a little kid, watching an episode of Lamb Chop's Play-Along in which Shari Lewis taught the viewers how to fold a paper cup. She even had a story mnemonic to go along with it; something about a prince, I think.
I spent several hours searching a while back, but I guess my Google-fu's not up to the task, because I couldn't find it. So, help? Please?
openA CGI show meant for small kids that had sun and moon themed clown kids in it Western Animation
There was a show that me and my sister would watch as children (in the early/mid 2000s), and from what I remember there were two kids, dressed up as clowns/pierrots. One of them had a "moon" theme to their costume while the other had a "sun" theme. They lived in the middle of a desert with a circus tent and a playground, where they would play together. It had a swing set and a see-saw (maybe a jungle gym).
Although the show had no dialogue, the two characters were voiced by children. The show may have had a french name, and might've started with an "M". The show was entirely in CGI. (And this show is not Popee the Performer, btw.)
openVintage robot show is all I know
So I remember this show from either the late 80s or early 90s. It was about a boy and his robot friend he built. They lived in the kids basement. The show would start with the kid coming downstairs and i think maybe removing a sheet off the robot and they would begin their day. You never saw the kids parents you only heard them at the top of the stairs. The show would end with the boy putting the sheet back on the robot (I think) but for sure going back upstairs at the end of the show. This has been driving me crazy for years now I need to find out what this show is. Please help!!
Edited by MindlessChatteropenA Powerpuff Girls Fighting Game
This one has been bugging me for a while, but you know that fan-remake of the Powerpuff Girls that's a manga? Not Powerpuff Girls Z, the webcomic from the same creator as Grim Tales. Well, I remember playing a flash game based on it that was a fighting game, and I played that game a lot. I even remember the whole Roster, being the three girls, some white-wearing girl (I assume she's from the webcomic, I've never read it), the Rowdyduff Boys as a Tag-Team and Dexter from Dexter's Lab. I also remember that it had Mega Man music for some reason.
I tried to find it but I only get official Flash Games based on the actual show. Any help?
opensomething similar to TMNT Live action Films. Film
Hi guys, I was hoping you guys could help me find out this movie i watched quite a bit in the past but i lost it and can't remember the name of.
Now from what i remember about the movie it had some teenage actor in a metal leg support help at the beggining of the movie a football member to win his match but the guy didn't say who he got the advice from and took the credit. Later after some talk with an asian man in some restaurant who later gives him a book that becomes a plot device later, is forced by the football person to go into a sewer like area as part of some trial of courage by going across a pipe and signing his name upon the other side and making it back before the water flushes down. Now while the kid got across and did sign his name, when he went back the water came and pushed him into the drain, to which he wakes up in the middle of some forrest being tended to by an anthromorphic rat ninja to which he scares the kid away to which the kid comes into contact with 4 other rat ninja's, an old man, and a female. The rats are apparently based off of the chinese elements (Fire, water, earth, wood, metal.) and the ninja who helped him earlier was of the water.
My memory gets vague here so i cant provide anything else, i just know its an old movie in color that was on vhs. Can anyone give me help here please?
openHannaBarbera cartoon with Jeanie Western Animation
There was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon I watched in the 70s that had Jeanie from I Dream of Jeanie and a sidekick named Babu. I looked on IM Db and couldn't find any mention of it. I think it was a mixed show with Pebbles and Bam-Bam as teens. Does this sound familiar?
openSoap Opera with a Yandere (Narrows it down, I'm sure) Live Action TV
There was this soap opera (I'm pretty sure it's a soap opera. My memory says it's a soap opera) where the male love interest was tied to a wheel by the Yandere and was stuck there for a long time. Luckily for him, he was found by a child who brought him food and water(I think 10 years old?) and then she rescued him...somehow. All I remember is thinking that he must have been important, because she got on the news and was called a hero. There was even a short animated segment where it had the two talking about her rescuing him. I think this was 2000-2006 ish? Maybe earlier, but probably not later than 2006. I'd love to know what it is so I can have context for why a very attractive man is strapped to a knife-throwing wheel.
openChristian "Discretion" episode VHS Live Action TV
Here comes a long, long shot. I used to have a VHS tape when I was very little (born 1994) of a TV episode, most likely Christian-produced with homeschoolers in mind (because those kind of things go hand-in-hand). The episode's theme was Discretion (specifically that word). The show itself seemed to consist of a live-action woman and a bat puppet and perhaps a few other less memorable characters. They would discuss the theme and do a skit (I remember at one point the bat was electrocuted by something and flew into a wall because he wasn't careful), and then play royalty-free animated shorts (one I know for sure was in there is Jack Frost, 1934) that reflected the theme. For the life of me I have no idea what the name of the show is. I've researched extensively, googling who used that short before (Futurama and Invader Zim both even featured a clip from another short used that I also can't find), cartoons about discretion, Christian puppet TV shows (THERE ARE A LOT), basically anything I can think of. I just want to find out what it was, for nostalgia's sake.
openCGI Movie with animal-human hybrid 'tv characters'
Pretty sure this was a movie aimed toward adults, it involved some characters from a tv show being brought to the 'real world' by a machine made by the bad guy. Two guys and a girl (possibly the princess) were brought out. They had furry, pointed ears, and maybe tails? There are two parts I remember, one where they went through a sewer and one where they met their creator.
openTwo kids parachuting in a cartoon Western Animation
I saw this one scene in some cartoon I saw when I was about 3-5 years old. There were two kids, a boy and a girl, who looked about 8 years old and they were falling from the sky. They slow their descent by opening parachutes. The boy's parachute however, has two smaller parachutes on top of the main one, presumably so he can have a more safer landing than the girl. The animation style was similar to that of Di C cartoons, so I'm guessing it must have been one of theirs. Anyone who knows what show this is from, feel free to reply ;)
openKid that goes into space with a violin-hidden spaceship
Sooo I have been searching around the internet about this TV Cartoon from the 1980's-1990's probably. There was this kid that at night, while lying to his parents that he was playing violin, he was actually travelling into space and finding odd-civilizations. Don't quite remember anymore, but there was a particular episode where he went into this weird 2D world. If it helps, it was aired in Eastern Europe some 10-15 years ago . Thanks:D
openMovie where a comedian wins the US presidential election Film
A comedian runs as independent for POTUS, and he wins, surprising everyone and himself. But then the voting machines might be flawed, and something is off... I never saw how it ended.
openB&W Movie or Sci Fi Show With aliens wearing masks Live Action TV
Okay I've lost almost all hope of finding this one. I've read through episodes of Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Tales From the Dark Side, etc. and I still haven't found it.
The episode/movie is in black and white, probably from 50s or 60s. It features a man who discovers that he can see aliens hiding among us through the viewfinder in his camera. They are wearing human masks and somehow this camera lets him see through them to their insect-like faces. The only other thing I remember is that at the end, he confronts them, only to find out that he was an alien as well the entire time. The last shot is of him scratching away pieces of his mask from the back of his neck/head.
And no, it is not "They Live" even though the plot sounds similar.
Any ideas?
Edited by DagnilloopenNo Title
This is a tabletop RPG book but there was no option for that. In 1998 I remember going an store and seeking this book for an RPG but was about some kind of creature. I don't remember the name of the RPG except that it definitely wasn't Dungeons And Dragons. It showed one of the creatures on the cover. They looked like big red centipede type things and had a name that started with C. I remember at the time thinking they seemed a lot like the taxxons from Animorphs which I was really into at the time.
openSome Educational Game I can't remember. Videogame
This was a game I've seen at school a lot from the late 90s/early 00s. You dressed up as a guy in red adventuring through a snowed-in mountain, where you had throwable snowballs as your weapons, and the peak of the mountain had treasure and you parachuted off the top.
Anyone remember this game? I could have sworn it was a Sierra game, but it wasn't that sadistic to be Sierra.
openOnly Saw The Trailer But I Remember It Pretty Well Live Action TV
So there was this trailer I saw for a show that I'm sure was on a premium channel like I'm going to say anywhere from 2010-2013. Anyway it seemed of genre of either fantasy/historical with a big religious influence. It is not Game of Thrones or The Bourgias because I have already watched or currently watching them. I do remember a very pale blonde girl and someone saying that the "aryan girl must die" or something similar to it.
openLooking for a kids show
Basically, it was this kids show that took place in a location very similar to this (the overall look and atmosphere of the show is also similar): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cNf4kv_9QE but with a well in the center of it. Almost every episode had a moment or two where the farmer would be freaked out by a small jack in the box kind of things, (probably it was one of the animals trying to scare him every episode). I think he had a daughter or assistant of some sort too. I don't remember well, but I think the well was used to make wishes.
openNick Jr Short Western Animation
It was a one-shot short, traditional animation. Possibly UK/AUS origin, aired around 1998-2000 on Nick Jr. It was about a little girl with red hair and a group of animal friends, one was a pig I remember. They were on a beach and trying to get into a seaside shop/snack shack and weren't allowed in, probably b/c of a no-animals policy. They tried to sneak in via the trench coat totem pole. At the end they gorged on snacks (presumably from the shop) and it ended with them being full.
openLooking for a short story Literature
My mind has dredged up another half-remembered thing from long ago. This time, a short story I read (I think) in high school as part of English class (in the mid 80's so the story had to be written well before that).
In it, a man, I think elderly, rescues a young boy, I think from a life raft or something. He takes the boy into his seaside cabin to care for him. At one point, the very ill boy coughs up some yellow phlegm on the old man's hand and he wipes it off in a hurry. I think the boy had diphtheria.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? That's really the only scene I remember, so I don't think I can provide more information.
Must have seen this on TV somewhere between 2002 and 2005. It was either a film or a series and it involved a woman with dark hair and skin in some kind of jungle. She dug a trap and covered it with branches and then put leaves over the top and I think she put a blade at the bottom. There was a man she wanted to trap who, if I remember correctly, was bald or had thin hair and a Slasher Smile. She managed to trap him and wound him and he laughed evily at her from the pit. Something like that.
