openTrying to identify horror tv episode Live Action TV
I remember watching a horror/supernatural themed tv show, a relatively modern show 1990+, in which four people are killed in a car accident and one of them thinks he survived and is able to see the ghosts of the other victims. Of course it turns out he is dead, too. I know this plot is similar to a lot of movies, but pretty sure it was a tv show. Thanks in advance!
openAnimated Futuristic Movie Film
I suddenly remembered a movie I watched several years ago (about 10 or more). I don't remember it very well but was about this girl in a futuristic society who was being born from some sort of pod before this guy with a gun decided to adopt her instead of shooting her. There was also this guy who kept insects underneath his clothes that would wither and kill people. I know in the end she piloted some sort of mech thingy with her mind. Someone please tell me what it is it's driving me crazy.
openDystopian mini series from the early 90s set in a city called Ark Live Action TV
Hey guys,
I remember watching a show sometime in the early 90s set in a city in the US called Ark-something. It was a fairly Big Brother-ish show, with a lot of political intrigue and backstabbing. I remember one scene features a character having his eye scooped right out of the socket as a punishment. It was most certainly a miniseries, since I recall watching all episodes in one night.
Any ideas what the name of the series might be? Ark, Big Brother, one of those is in the title, I am quite sure.
Thanks for reading!
opentime travel animated movie Film
Hello. I am looking for an animated movie I saw as a kid. Unfortuneatly I only remember the last act. The main character had gone to the far future coming across just a single semingly advanced city in the middle of a desert. The city is inhabited by an almost child-like type of people with various psychic powers. He lets one of them try his sunglasses and it ends up freaking them out since it got so dark.
Later he meets yet another group of people that live underground that fears the sunlight due to their sensitive eyes. By contrast with the others they have a strong, almost gorilla like, build but pale skin. They also know how to operate much of the technology as well as how to produce food. As a result of this, the childlike ones often go out in the night and then they go missing and in their place, a collection of food is found instead. Turns out that the underground people needs their psychic powers to power the many systems needed where they live. Also the main character manages to get one of them to the surface during the day thanks to the previously mentioned sunglasses.
If memory serves it all ends with the main character managing to make peace between the two peoples.
Edited by mattesteopenFrench drama involving teenage girl math prodigy? Film
Probably made in the 90s or early 2000s. The main character is a late teenage girl who is very good at math and at some point goes to an olympiad-type competition. IIRC she has an affair with her teacher/coach/something. Any ideas?

Edited by GAlahad1243openA girl with a hatbox full of letters to a penpal? Literature
I know I read a book (in middle school, probably? It was definitely children's or YA) where a girl would write all her problems in letters to a penpal she got in elementary school. Execept, she never sent the letters, she just kept them all in a hatbox in her closet. I think at the end of the book she decides to send them. The penpal's name was Julia, I think. I think the girl had issues with her family and a lot of the letters were about that but don't take my word for it.
openMan runs over severe tire damage spikes Film
There's a scene from a comedy movie, probably from the 1980s, that I have in my head, but I can't remember what film it's from. There's a man in a car, waiting behind a line of cars at a kiosk. He gets frustrated at waiting, and drives past the kiosk on the left side, right over the severe tire damage spikes, flattening all four tires in the process. He then gets out of his car and runs in.
I'm picturing Steve Martin, or someone similar.
openA 1980s UK TV Programme
There was a 1980s UK TV programme that had a wizard type character that was either in a purple of black full length cloak that had a big 'o' on the front. Does anyone remember the character or the programme?
openBeer Commercial-crazy stuntman, crazy jingle/song Live Action TV
This was probably a Budweiser or Bud Light commercial, older than the Budweiser frogs—featuring this stuntman who was maybe falling down some stairs, or jumping out of a window, then popping back up with a beer in hand, all while this synth-voiced song played in the background. Only saw the commercial once, but it had me laughing for ages!
openHaving a great friend but not knowing why-essay read in college Literature
I read this piece in a college literature course (maybe American or European lit). In it the author asks the question to the effect, "Do you know how you have a very best friend, but you don't really know how or why you become so?" For the win, somebody tell me where this came from! Thanks.
openAnimated Christmas Special
I remember an animated Christmas Special that aired on the (defunct) WB channel. They aired it for like a month but I never got what the name was. Can someone help me?
openNintendo DS game with runes Videogame
I read about a video game on the Nintendo DS that involved drawing symbols (I think they were called runes) on the touch screen to execute special techniques. There was a system of elements that made runes work differently. I remember there being a big table on Game FA Qs that showed the different effects each rune and element had. I have no idea if this is enough, but if anybody does remember, I owe them my gratitude.
open"Charlie Bit My Finger" parody Web Original
I remember when I was 5 or 6 I watched a parody of the "Charlie Bit My Finger" video on YouTube. The video was an animated clip of two red devils on a green background, and one bit the other's finger. This kept going, and I remember that at one point when the devil's finger got bitten, the camera zoomed into the devil's mouth as he screamed. The animation was crude and I think the audio was poor. I remember the title being "Charlie bit my finger again" or "Charlie bit my finger 2", but I don't see the video when I search for it. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

openAnyone know what US TV drama this is?
A while ago, I saw on You Tube an episode of a US TV drama but I've forgotten the name of it and can't find it on You Tube.
In the episode, a woman with regenerative abilities wakes up in a hospital not remembering how she got there. A doctor goes into her room and tells her she's killed one of her best friends, but she has no memory of the incident and is in total disbelief that she's done that. She calls her boss or something to see her (the only person she can call), but even he believes she killed her best friend. Later, the doctor performs a bone marrow extraction on her and when a nurse goes to clean her wounds, is surprised to find all the wounds healed completely. Some time afterwards, the nurse starts to suspect the doctor after she hears a conversation between him and another man and then sees the doctor transform into another person. She goes to warn the woman but is killed by her, who turns out to be the doctor transformed into the woman. Then some time later, the woman's other best friends go to the hospital but find everything and everyone gone, and it turns out the hospital was fake and was setup by the doctor to trap the woman.
Edited by clarie91sopenChinese Language Movie that was Free on Youtube Film
I watched this movie around 2010, when there was a section of Youtube where you could watch free movies (Maybe they still do that?) It was an indie film, I believe, that was either partially or entirely in Chinese with English subtitles. It was about a girl living in Chinatown. She was really into Chinese luck traditions, which annoyed the people around her a lot. She had glasses and rode her bike around a lot. I think she had a single mom that was pretty young (But that could be wrong) There was a scene in the end where she gets injured really badly, but, if I remember correctly, she ends up okay. Thanks for helping me out!
Hi all. This has been killing me for a long time, I remember a show, I can see it in my head, but can't for the life of me remember the name. From what I can remember .... It's a kids show, from the early 90's, british, I think it was sci fi related, there was a boy (?) and then there were these, I want to say aliens? A woman dressed as a dog was one of them, they went through this door and became cartoon like. It wasn't a comedy as such, think it was a more serious sci fi kids show. Any help would be fantastic thank you
