openEvil Flower Pyramid Movie?? Film
I can't remember the title for the life of me, but I remember the plot. A group of American tourists on vacation go up into a part of the jungle they have been explicitly warned to avoid. They find a pyramid(Not the Egyptian variant) and pose for a picture. Early on, a group of natives spot them and start yelling angrily in a language that none of them understand. The group of natives consist of a few men, one woman and one very young boy. One of the Americans approaches and offers money thinking it will help . The natives shoot him much to the horror of the other tourists. One of the tourists (A girl) gets agitated and throws a cluster of leaves at the small native boy. Much to his mother's dismay, the others turn and shoot him to death without a shred of hesitation. Afterwards the Americans climb the pyramid to avoid being shot. Ultimately it turns out that the pyramid is full of a very strange plant that grows into their bodies and causes hallucination as well as several other problems. The natives weren't just trying to be evil, they were aware of this plant and wanted to keep it where it was so they stayed all night to quarantine the Americans until every one of them died. They didn't even spare the little boy because they thought he was infected. None of this is explicitly said. It's an ending you put together from watching the movie. At the end, a search party arrives at the pyramid and calls one of the dead tourist's names.

Does anyone remember a book with a Perfectionist Mage Girl who, when they fail, increases their goal and makes it harder...?
And I think the thing she was trying to perfect was spellcasting?
Edited by MaladyopenNew Year's Movie - Channel 9 (Australia) Film
I've got a weirdly specific but annoyingly vague request to find a film. It was broadcast on New Year's Eve on Channel 9 in Australia in the space between the family and midnight fireworks, and whilst I didn't watch it, I caught enough of it to be slightly intrigued by what it was about. I remember that it was live action, featured a team of people on some sort of mission, the closing credits were in a sort of Saul Bass-esque style, and there was a scene just before an ad break where it appeared as if one of the team members was going to betray them. I'm a bit fuzzy on year of broadcast, but I'd say that it was either 2005 or 2006 (give or take a few years). Really curiious to either find this, or find some easy place where I can search old TV listings in Australia, because for what I lack in detail of the film, I more than make up for in the broadcast time/day.
openmiddle grade book series about princesses Literature
When I was in elementary or middle school (circa 2000-2005, possible published earlier) I read a book from a series about princesses. It's not the royal diaries books; I'm pretty sure it was a fictional princess. It may have also had wolf in the title (but not the Wolf Princess by Catherine Constable). I can remember the cover pretty distinctly: it was mostly brown (possibly a brown archway or border), with a girl looking over her shoulder at the reader. I'm pretty sure this was one of a series of princess books. As a kid I actually tried to write a similar book, but ended up pretty much copying the opening paragraphs. The first word was something like Bang! or Wham! which was the titular princess falling off her stool. Then she runs around packing things for a journey of some sort. I'm not sure I read any more than the first couple chapters because I don't remember any of the plot. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
openMan fighting something at the beginning of film or show
This was either a film or a TV show from inbetween 2000-2010. My minds taking me more towards it being a film. I can remember at the beginning a young handsome man, mid 20s maybe, entering the screen, talking and then fighting a group. I can picture it being a dark setting and then after the fighting I'm about 70% sure the film/show turned to animation but I'm not positive. Any help would be great as this has been bugging me for years now. Thanks.
openOddly relaxing video game I played a long time ago but forgot what it was called Videogame
Hello, TV Tropes community! I'm here to ask for help in finding a video game, (I think it had "sandbox" in its name,) about these robot dogs or monkeys who had lines that displayed different colors, and there were also goblins who had shirts similar to soccer jerseys on. There was one quest where you had to find apples for a goblin to make apple pie. This sounds like a weird premise for a game, I know, but it was really relaxing to play! Any answers to my question are appreciated!
openCan't remember the name of a cartoon character. Western Animation
This one kid from a cartoon like Kids Next Door who wears a purple cap with a bowling ball under it or some other sort of ball.
openAnimation short about a guy destroying the whole neighborhood with excavator (jetix)
I am really struggling to find an animation short (could be part of a series, i dont remember) that i think i so on jetix a few years ago.The short is about (the onlything i remember) a guy that after trying to do something gets really mad and takes the excavator (or tank) and drives over the fences and the yards of the whole neighborhood, after that he gets out quietly and the police arrests him and i think his family was watching. Im not excactly sure anymore whether it was an anime orn not, i dont remember it being but now that im thinking of it, it could be. I think it aired on jetix but it could also be boomerang.
- I know this probabbly isnt enough information but i cant remember anything else about it anymore.
openCube Battle Cartoon
I'm trying to remember the name of this show where there were four main characters. They each would battle by summoning things using magic cubes. One would summon robots, one could summon a golem, and another one had a pet dragon. I forget most of the plot, but I remember this part where the golem that one of the guys could summon was dying, so he fused with it to keep it alive. Does anyone know what show I'm talking about?
openPokemon like Robot anime Anime
It was this show that was really obscure about these kids that worked in a lab or something. Then they got robots and to fight other robots, it was very similar to pokemon but with robots. The theme song was really damn catchy, and my brother used to always make jokes about the title because it was kind of stupid... The voices were in english.
Edited by MintyShoujiopen90s Young kids show help Western Animation
I can't for the life of me find the exsistance of this 5 minute animation that was in between other kids shows. It was called 'Billy' (I think?). The art style was stick figures/sketchy. It was about a boy called Billy who would use imagination and go into worlds like becoming a Knight or Fireman. Definitely for little kiddies not older kids.
The characters all had English voice actors and it may have been shown on BBC... it's definitely not Little bill.
Any help would be appreciated in finding this cartoon. Thanks!
openDaystar Sheep Show??
Ok so I watched this show when I was really little because I didn't have cable and you take what you can get. But it was on Daystar on Saturday mornings and it was about these sheep? And there was a wolf? It was super weird but it was 2D animated and I can't find info on it anywhere... I was just wondering because of curiosity

Edited by amunderyabedopenMystery Cartoon Show Probably from the Early 90s Western Animation
Asking for a friend, does anyone know which animated film/tv show is being shown in this photo? It seems to feature elf-like people? I thought Teddy Ruxpin but it doesn't seem quite right. Any suggestions?
Edited by GiggleShoesopenTeenage deliquents cartoon Western Animation
I watched it in the early 2000s. A group of teenagers get up to crazy antics. It had a Beavis and Butt-Head kind of vibe to it. Definitely western animation. They made fun of policemen stereotypes (like eating donuts ect). I remember in one episode, the boys are on holiday, they wake up and everyone has gone to the beach but they assumed that everyone was abducted by aliens. I remember that in the opening, the group of cartoon teenagers were spinning around on the grass and one of them threw up. That's all I remember. It's definitely not a kids cartoon and it's definitely not Regular Show because that is way too recent. All characters were human. Like I said, I'm going off what I remember and I saw this maybe 10 years ago.
Edited by AmazingzombiedogopenHB Cartoon with Weird-Barking Dog Western Animation
It's an early (50s/60s) Hanna-Barbera cartoon featuring a hunter and his hound, and the dog, instead of barking, makes this sound that sounds like "Dope, dope." instead. I'm guessing it was from Yogi Bear or Huckleberry Hound or one of those other contemporary shows. It is NOT the same dog that keeps begging for dog treats, so don't bother suggesting that!
openComedy show with cocaine addicted host with funny fake commercials
There was this show, sometime before 2006 I think, possibly from the 90s, where there was a show host that was always doing cocaine and being hyperactive, he looked a bit like hyde from that 70s show, and they had some funny fake commercials, only one I remember is one where you put your head in a box and smoked, and the smoke didn't go out of the box. I think they also showed funny home videos, and skater videos where the host would talk over and say funny stuff
openCartoon on either Nickelodeon, or Disney Channel
I remember watching a show when I was younger, but I can't remember the name. I remember the main characters being a girl and a boy. I remember one episode where there was a black cat causing bad things to happen to anything it passed by, the two main characters trying to catch it, and the girl calling it some cat pun I can't remember.
That is all I can really remember. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about?
openWhat anime is this? Anime
If this request seems familiar, I accidentally posted this in the main Ask the Tropers section a few days ago. Sometime a few years ago (between 2010 and 2013) I watched a couple of episodes of an anime where each episode showed the main character's first two years of college, but he was doing something different every time. The first episode had him join the cycling team, and the second had him involved in a prank war.
What I remember is that they looked like sylvanian families. It was stop-motion. I remember an episode were one of them was scared of the dark because they saw a monster, but it turned out to be a tree in the way of the moonlight so it only looked like a monster. Please help, it's going to bug me until I know what it's called.
