So it was top-down, and you were the pilot of a crashed ship; you could make drones with specific attributes, body, head, treads, etc.
The biggest defining feature I remember is that you had to program the drone's entire route by hand before sending it out—you'd direct it, for example, to go north, north, east, north, turn west, pick up mineral, south, west, south, south, and if you messed up, it wouldn't return to the drone bay, and you'd lose the resources you invested to make the drone, and have to send a new drone out to retrieve them.
I also remember a pool of acid I couldn't get through because I didn't have the right drone parts, and a plant that smashed drones that got near, but I'm less sure about those two.
I think it was a flash game, or something played in-browser.
