Did you try asking the church about it?
Okay, I won’t be surprised if this one is impossible to figure out. I heard this song over 15 years ago on a cassette tape from a church basement. For all I know, it was a demo from the church’s group of musicians. However, I’m going to try my best to describe it on the off chance it was actually commercially released somewhere.
The song is a short instrumental, probably no longer than two to three minutes or so. It reminds me a lot of Nadia’s theme by Barry De Vorzon & Perry Botkin Jr., though a little more low key. It starts with a simple piano solo, then adds a soft acoustic guitar on top before moving onto a short flute solo. Then comes the chorus, which is mostly done by strings. Then after a brief guitar interlude again, it repeats from the flute part, going into the same string chorus. After that, it ends on the piano slowing down into a gentle stop.
Again, this song might not even exist anywhere except that cassette tape I found all those years ago, but if this sounds at all familiar to anyone, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.
