I've just spent way too long Googling to no avail. Please help!

General background:

live-action TV sitcom (pretty sure)
definitely aired within the last 10 years
overall vibe possibly similar to "How I Met Your Mother" or "Master of None"
presumably takes place in NYC

Specific episode or scene:

male lead invites female friend/love interest on a one-night weekend getaway trip with him to London, Paris, or some other European destination
after they arrive, they wind up sleeping off the jet lag at the hotel the entire time
when they finally wake up, they have to rush to the airport for their return flight
love interest is angry/annoyed that she even agreed to go in the first place
no romance; just comically awkward

SOLVED! It was Portlandia, season 3, episode 8, titled "Soft Opening" (2013). Featuring Fred Armisen and Rose Byrne.
