openHistorical Fiction Novel Lost at 8th Grade Lunch Hour (RIP) Literature
Hoping and praying someone can tell me or at least direct me to the title of this novel I read back in Ye Olde times of eighth grade. The fact I never finished it has gnawed at the back of my skull since that fateful lunch hour. God help me.
Clearly remember the protagonist is female. Honestly only remember one of the biggest subplots built with the main (??) female character reminiscing about her troubled childhood. When the main novel storyline takes place, she's older and a wife and a mother, if I recall, but the backstory littered throughout follows her crappy life as a teenager.
Subplot goes as follows: protagonist has hot sister, but she herself is stout and plain. Sister has affair with man who, after she tells him she is pregnant with his child, tips his hat and says "awesome! Better get back to my wife and kids" and hauls his merry ass outta there, leaving her devastated. Lucky (??) for sister and protag, protag was arranged to be wed to a man who was Simply Awful and who disliked the plainness of the protag. So he of course jumps on the chance to bed her sister. Sister Dearest sacrifices herself by lying to the fiancee that the child is his after some wild nights in the hay barn. He marries her, angrily, and Sister thus spares Protag from a lifetime of unhappiness and abuse. Hooray? This sets us up with the characters and circumstances occurring in the story's present (which was historical, but I haven't a clue which era it was; post 18th century North America is all I can give. Now I think about it, immediately post WWI? WWII? Perhaps? Heavens).
So, the suspense builds with this subplot throughout, building up behind the main plot which takes place when, as I said, Protag is an adult. Main plot follows the issues faced when a homeless man and war veteran (if my memory is correct) shows up at their house after someone dies (Sister? Father? Who knows who dies but I swear someone does). He starts out being referred to as unrelated, but it quickly begins to be nudged at that he may be some Super Secret Integral Family Member. Mystery is Who the Hell this man is.
I just wanna know. If you guys know this title (found in middle school library, so that sorta playing field, even though I found hard porn in that place so go wild I guess) just tell me who he is. Thank you.
I'm wasting away.
EDIT: Additional tips: I think the author was female, and story takes place in a rural area. Second tip has a 0.0001% chance of helping but at this point I'm just throwing things out there in desperation.

Kids Cartoon about a red headed girl with a magical amulet that could let her travel through time (or teleport I dont remember which) when she spun it around and she had a tiny dinosaur (or possibly dragon?) friend who she took with her and the little reptile thing could talk? It was from the early 2000's
openNew tv show Film
Hello! Not so long ago I saw a trailer of new series. It involved man searching for a dog he never had, and sequence of strange events, like rain right in the room and upside car. I forgot the name of the show and searched through lists of new 2016 shows but can't find it. Can anyone help me with this one? The first words in trailer were like this: just because you are searching for your dog, doesn't mean you had one. Thanks)
Edited by NahimovopenCanadian Blonde spy show Live Action TV
A Spy ish live action show with a blonde female as the lead actress. Ran on a Canadian network (CBC?) between 1999ish-2002ish. The episode plot had our lead breaking into an underground complex, she used a prop (kids toy) that attached to her head and shows her the hidden lasers that crossed the hallway that she needed to run down. Her accomplice over radio disables the lasers and she runs the length of the hallway, avoiding the lasers. A different episode, (spoiler alert) she meets an evil doppelgänger who calls her 'Dolly' because one of them is a clone. What is the shows name? edit: i don't actually remember what years it came out, im assuming before 2006, because thats about how old i was by the time that the show would have completed. im fairly confident its a low-budget CTV or CBC Canadian tv show.

Hey guys, I'm new here. I need you to help me. This past week, I went on a vacation to Florida and I stopped on Pensacola Beach. I went and ate at Flounder's and there was this song that was playing there. It went something like:
Something that (something something) is you
Something that (something something) is you
Something that (something something) is you
Something that belongs to you/Something that seems to be you
The song I would describe as country/tropical/rock/I really don't know. If it helps, the song that was playing after that was "Manic Monday" by the Bangles, so it could be around the same genre as "Manic Monday". Thank you!
Edited by chrysleraspenopenLate 90s UK TV show/movie. Only vaguely remember one scene - path (un)safe! Film
There was this TV show/movie I watched in primary school (UK, late 90s). It may have come out earlier than that.
Can remember almost nothing about it except some adventurers of some sort walking along a mountain path when they come across a sign that says 'Path safe'. To the viewer's horror however, when they go past it, some little mischevious ewok like creatures jump out and move something covering the 'Un' in 'Unsafe'.
There may or may not have been a scene where the heroes were tracking the ewok-things, and maybe another one where they were in a lush green valley.
I realise this isn't much to go off, but this has been bugging me for the better part of 15 years.

openKIds Nature Documentary Film
I remember this nature documentary for kids that I passed by at a museum once. They were even playing it on a TV. It had a song in it about Spring that had a line that went something along the lines of "check the clock because Spring is here", or something. Oh, and it also gave the animals voices. Gotta keep those kids entertained somehow. I also remember these frogs that told bad puns, to an audience of fish I believe?

Something a few days ago reminded me of a game (or maybe a book) I saw a long time ago where there was a company that built starships for combat. Their official motto was "Built in space to fight in space", but since they were notoriously cheap (both in price and staying power), the joke motto was "Crunch all you want, we'll make more."
I want to say this was part of some sort of card game, or maybe a video game, but I'm not at all sure. Does anyone recognize this?

openCiTV or other from early 90's
Hi all. This has been killing me for a long time, I remember a show, I can see it in my head, but can't for the life of me remember the name. From what I can remember .... It's a kids show, from the early 90's, british, I think it was sci fi related, there was a boy (?) and then there were these, I want to say aliens? A woman dressed as a dog was one of them, they went through this door and became cartoon like. It wasn't a comedy as such, think it was a more serious sci fi kids show. Any help would be fantastic thank you
openTrying to identify horror tv episode Live Action TV
I remember watching a horror/supernatural themed tv show, a relatively modern show 1990+, in which four people are killed in a car accident and one of them thinks he survived and is able to see the ghosts of the other victims. Of course it turns out he is dead, too. I know this plot is similar to a lot of movies, but pretty sure it was a tv show. Thanks in advance!
openAnimated Futuristic Movie Film
I suddenly remembered a movie I watched several years ago (about 10 or more). I don't remember it very well but was about this girl in a futuristic society who was being born from some sort of pod before this guy with a gun decided to adopt her instead of shooting her. There was also this guy who kept insects underneath his clothes that would wither and kill people. I know in the end she piloted some sort of mech thingy with her mind. Someone please tell me what it is it's driving me crazy.
openDystopian mini series from the early 90s set in a city called Ark Live Action TV
Hey guys,
I remember watching a show sometime in the early 90s set in a city in the US called Ark-something. It was a fairly Big Brother-ish show, with a lot of political intrigue and backstabbing. I remember one scene features a character having his eye scooped right out of the socket as a punishment. It was most certainly a miniseries, since I recall watching all episodes in one night.
Any ideas what the name of the series might be? Ark, Big Brother, one of those is in the title, I am quite sure.
Thanks for reading!
opentime travel animated movie Film
Hello. I am looking for an animated movie I saw as a kid. Unfortuneatly I only remember the last act. The main character had gone to the far future coming across just a single semingly advanced city in the middle of a desert. The city is inhabited by an almost child-like type of people with various psychic powers. He lets one of them try his sunglasses and it ends up freaking them out since it got so dark.
Later he meets yet another group of people that live underground that fears the sunlight due to their sensitive eyes. By contrast with the others they have a strong, almost gorilla like, build but pale skin. They also know how to operate much of the technology as well as how to produce food. As a result of this, the childlike ones often go out in the night and then they go missing and in their place, a collection of food is found instead. Turns out that the underground people needs their psychic powers to power the many systems needed where they live. Also the main character manages to get one of them to the surface during the day thanks to the previously mentioned sunglasses.
If memory serves it all ends with the main character managing to make peace between the two peoples.

Ok, so I am pretty certain the name of the show was the name of the main character, but I could be wrong.
The main character was a young green dragon with wings and a medallion around his neck that was an orphan. He lived with these small creatures, and was the last of his kind.
I remember two distinct places, one being a cave overlooking a cliff that his father lived in? Or the bad guy? The second is this forbidden(maybe) place that had humans in it. The main character interacted with either one or two human kids.(I believe they found him in snow?)
There was....two henchmen that were trying to capture him, or it might have been the creatures that raised him. One thing I know for certain: It was DEFINITELY 2d animation.
The only show I've found is Dragon tales. But that doesn't fit. The green dragon was a LOT smaller than them, about the size of the two kids. If I had to give an example design, it would be similar to the design of Jake Long from American Dragoon season 1, but the size of his little sister.
